Plus one. Half the battle is the enclosure. Put those things in a nice box and they will shine.

That is part of your problem as well. That box does not have enough port area for two XCON 15's. I am on the low side with my 12's and almost have as much as you do.
  4. Crescendo makes quality amplifiers, and leaving room for upgrades it never a bad thought.
  5. Thanks everybody for the kind words!! This thing sounds amazing.
  6. I had a friend buy a crescendo 2000d recently, and it is having a loud buzzing coming from the amp itself. Sounds to me like the fan, but all these issues I've been hearing are kinda disappointing. Im going to run all crescendo amps for my rebuild, so hopefully these are flukes.
  7. No that's the price of owning a FORD
  8. On the contrary, they are one of the best places provided you properly remove the paint. They have a weld nut on the back and are a large thick spot of metal. It is structurally superior to regular sheet metal. Think about it, they bolt your seat down there. I don't know what the fuss is about unibody vehicles either. In this instance, the entire vehicle is the chassis and frame. It is one large ground, unlike a body-on-chassis vehicle which has isolating body mounts and requires the body of the vehicle to be grounded to the fram via ground straps.
  9. Corrosion build up on terminals are from chemical gasses corroding the metal.
  10. My SP4's started a small fire in this chick's panties once. Damnedest thing you ever saw. lol Either guys are just clueless and completely beating the piss out of these subs enough to catch fire or There is malfunction with the sub causing this.. I think one of these mystery subs should be sent back to FI so a determination can be made to either fix the issue or tell the person to quit being a dumbass.
