  5. Jay was a monster. She was about 15 years old. Sadly she died a few years back. Yes. Depends on the breed. Some are very aggressive, but generally they are fairly docile. The Chilean Rose Hair (Harry and Jay are both Chilean Rose) are very docile, and only attack when provoked and after a ton of posturing. They are great for beginners, and people who really like to handle them. Spiders like the Baboon are extremely aggressive and will bite after just a quick show of their anger I got bit by a Rose once, but I deserved it. I kept teasing her so she would posture for my friends and she lashed out so fast I didn't realize she had attacked until after it was all over.
