  3. About 24 hrs. I talked to him Monday evening and he said testing might start on Monday evening or Tuesday. He does testing on a few thousand transducers a year, some companies send hundreds at a time, every year. So I try not to aggravate him much. He's normally on the ball so expect to hear from him soon. I have no doubts on the product. At the most, enclosure specs could change by .25 cubic feet and tuning a hertz or two up or down. I've already tested it with a DATS and manually calculating parameters by hand. Also had it installed and playing for about 24 hrs of playing time. I just want verification via an industry standard testing procedure before I publish results. It's taking me a bit longer than most. But it's better than winging it and I believe most of y'all appreciate the extra steps taken.
  4. Idk but I tried to stay out of it as Aaron politely asked us to calm down. At least we have a few new members I guess
  5. The all new Skar RS-1 'Rick S-1'.
  6. It got re-added after kevin deleted it
  7. Aren't you the dude that did a wine barrel enclosure in a Fusion or something from SMD? I thought that enclosure was really creative.
  8. Haha!! Skarbage FTW!!
  9. Kevin that is no way to talk to a potential customer. I would like to inquire about these products also. Ones a 6.5 sub and the other your new component set. I think these would work great in a 3 way set up in my doors.
  10. I use $5 pieces of shit from TJ Maxx, lol. Sound as good as some SQ competitors vehicles.

  12. And with the resources behind Denon, Klipsch, Sennheiser, etc I honestly can't imagine the AQ being better.
  13. Well dress pants and dress shirt with nice belt and shoes it is. Still a step above jeans, and looks more professional than most. J
  14. One step nicer than the others and you are set. Just keep the shoes/belt on the dressy end as they make the biggest difference.
  15. Just installed my first backup camera. That was easy. IT's not 100% wired up yet because i like to do things different, So i got one of those full license plate framed cameras. I drilled a hole, ran the wire through the back door, installed grommet and sealed it up well. Connected it to it's extension cable, taped it up and zip tied it in 5 places to ensure they will never disconnect. I have all my dc wires ran on the left side of the vehicle in the roof and all the AC wiring ran on the right side of the roof. I will have to pull the stereo out to finish hooking it up but i still need to do this- Run trigger wire from stereo to reverse light. Connect camera to stereo and run power and ground from the cable harness to wherever. Now, here is what i'm doing differently for my backup camera- My stereo triggers the rear view camera video input when the remote trigger senses voltage from the reverse light. I cannot manually just go to rear camera while i'm driving.... Well, not yet, So, i'll install a DP relay on the remote trigger wire from the stereo. What this will do is when it's NOT switched, the remote trigger will work normal, only sensing voltage when reverse light is turned on and i'm in reverse. When i flip a switch that controls the relay, the Remote trigger line will be CUT from the reverse light and fed directly from the battery giving it constant 12v allowing the stereo to view the rear view camera while driving. Simply turn the switch off and the rear view camera trigger goes back to normal sensing for the reverse light. This will not interfere with the reverse light whatsoever while driving so it will be pretty cool to be able to see what's behind you whenever you need to.
  16. I guess that is a seller who thinks someone will pay more to not wait for build time, eh? A brand new Fi BL 15" shipped is like 450$ Is it for 2 of them? Says he has 2
  17. Oh MY GOD!!!!!! http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/polaroid-sx-70-camera/
  18. Sometimes people just post what's on their minds. Maybe he wants to see if people agree with his decision? I donno. It's not annoying to me. Kyle, take your negative ass post somewhere else. Not every post has to have pics or technical info.
  19. I can't remember who built the Pikes Peak diesel truck but it runs a big roots style supercharger IIRC, along with a single turbo. Not uncommon to use a supercharger in a compound setup.
  20. It won't matter because the people with 4 15's with only 200 inches of port cramed in a wall in a 4 door sedan will run their head about not hear any port noise. But you and I know the differance between hearing port noise and the correlation between port COMPRESSION and decreased spl, increased coil temperatures, and higher group delays. It just blows my mind that people spends thousands and thousands of dollars on equipment and won't spend 40 bucks on a book to learn how to apply the equipment.
  21. Yes, I meet him at last year finals. He was with steve. That Benz has over 350k miles on it.
