Welcome to the IHoP v.2
1 pointI've looked at well over 5,000 shoes this morning and I have come to the conclusion that manufacturers are catering to the black community far more than the white. You know that some things just look better on a black guy than they do a white guy and neon green with neon blue or neon yellow with neon red and so on just don't go well on a white guy imo. I have yet to find a good pair of everyday shoes that are comfortable yet still look good. I found a possible Nike Air Max shoe that may be able to work. I just have to see them in person now and try them on.1 point

1 pointThanks guys, keeping this budget to 1000 bucks. I already have a Die Hard plat group 31 going under hood, BC 2000 and all wiring and fuses I could ever need. So that leaves components, 2 channel amp for them, subs and head unit. Now I am considering doing 4 Sundown SD10's sealed and run them of the bc2000. I am limited to a shitty slim truck box. They are only 4.75 mounting depth so maybe this is my best choice. Would sound awesome on Rock but unsure about..... May even try out those sundown Sa6.5 components, alpine type R's or back to the JL C3 series that I know sound good. Decisions.1 point

I don't think people rate based on logic just on how they personally feel. Pretty stupid imo. It's not a dc vs fi thread. Just a which is a better deal thread. How do those ethos handle the mid twenties jon? well... i know your a little green to this... so ill try to shoot ya straight.... im tuned low... 29.. .. but alot more goes into that factor.. my car will respond differently to the same box, then it would in your blazer or what ever.. wave length loading.. so forth all come into play.... also you have to remember that im WAY over powering these subs...,. big time... and they still kill the lows.. but because im over powering them so much, they dont play well UNDER tuning .. i mean dont get me wrong.. they play low like a boss... and my low i mean i play 30 hz with athority with as much power and im pushing... keep in mind i have a 7K on 2 1800 RMS subs..... if you run the rated power on the subs and tune the box at 25 hz it will be pronominal but with all that said.. i dont think you truly understand what you would be biting off if you built such a stereo..... let me tell you the problems you will run into... first off .. every one is on the bandwagon about being low.. low low low low..... lol well let me tell you ... if you tune low the first problem you will run into is that you will have a HELL OF A HARD TIME finding music that plays well. most custom slowed music is 28-30 hz, ... nothing lower. .. the only things lower honestly will be classical music with organs, and movies... both of those options play down into the teens... for a reason.. you feel it not hear it... honestly i doubt you have ever heard true lows.... most people have not... they think they have.. but they have not.. it pisses alot of people off but its a fact tuning at 33 hz is a safe place.. gives you best of both worlds IMO. and if you run the ethos you will be happy .. i promise you .... im doing something against the grain with the ethos for YOUR and others benefit im truly putting them thru the ropes. they are mode for lows. my advice to you is that of an experienced user.. follow it or dont .. i wont be mad1 point

1 pointHaven't had Iberian, but I've eaten a bunch of Iberico*wouldn't bother with the ham, but almost any other part is worth it. Did I get the name wrong? I love all those exotic hams. I bet the whole pig is yummy if it's fatty and high in the HDL rich fats. I picked up a half pound of serrano, a ring of blood sausage and Ukrainian after my grandpa's funeral. He was the onlyone who ate blood sausage with me. It was kind of cool because his nephew showed up at the deli too.1 point

I didnt neg it, but I put it back at 0 for ya with a pos Thank you1 point- purchasing a woofer tomorrow, need advice, asap.
This is the reason why they never put them on the website until the M2s came out. No need to custom build them anymore.. Also, there is a guy on caco running a 9k amp PER Lvl6 without issues. the Lvl6 is BETTER than the Lvl5 and vice versa. It depends on your goals. ~45hz and below, the Lvl6 will dominate. ~45hz and above, the Lvl5 will dominate. This is referencing meter scores. I'd personally get the BTL because of the price but i'd only even think about the Lvl6 if it's an M2 version.1 point- purchasing a woofer tomorrow, need advice, asap.
yeah its a really good price... kinda too good shipped ya know ?1 point- IAK needs an "IHOP"

1 pointenclosure for (4)15's 3 cubic feet per sub tuned to 32 hertz external dimensions: 46" wide x 40" deep x 19" tall1 point- 500-550RWHP powerstroke? i think so ;)
Very close, it's for a Clark TLA-8 Integral engine/compressor for natural gas compression on the natural gas transmission pipeline that I work for. They're rated for 2700hp, have a 17" bore and 19" of stroke which puts them right around 35,000 cu. in. of displacement. I used to work for a GE contractor and we built large distribution, switchgear, MCCs, etc. . . I got to see a lot of that stuff and it never ceases to amaze me at the engineering feats.1 point- 500-550RWHP powerstroke? i think so ;)
1 point- 500-550RWHP powerstroke? i think so ;)
we have a 1974 international 4700 supercharged turbo V6 airstart! Detroit truck... we use it for house moving, has an old 21 3 shifter tranny.. its a fucking raggedy beast but she runs! and pulls like a son of a bitch.1 point- why is there no love for PSI here??
0 pointsI dont know if thats the right thing to say but anywho, im not just looking at my options carefully before making any final decision as im on a budget and just was curious that is why i opened the thread to clear up some of the bad vibe i have got from this forum regarding that company to see the reasoning behind it.0 points- why is there no love for PSI here??
