2 pointsThis is an audio forum. If a guy has no questions to ask because he just uses the search function it would be a very boring life around here There is nothing wrong with asking audio related questions on SSA.2 points

2012 Mustang GT - nothing fancy
1 pointPicked up the new ADS Maestro, ADS dash kit and Kenwood DNX890HD for the mustang. . Install was pretty straight forward. Accessing the wire for SYNC and OBDII was a bit of a pain though. Really loving how much you can customize the setup and how much better the audio quality is. CM5 kit was an mistake in the shipping, otherwise the other parts were all necessary. CM5 kit was actually supposed to be the RR Maestro unit. IMG_1016 by riored4v, on Flickr Maestro RR IMG_1027 by riored4v, on Flickr Stock IMG_1017 by riored4v, on Flickr SYNC module located behind glove box IMG_1020 by riored4v, on Flickr Sh1tty pic.. but the SYNC wire that needed to be tested. Should read 5v and then drop when the SYNC voice command button is pushed. IMG_1021 by riored4v, on Flickr Pulled the OBD2 harness out from the clip and had to splice in to these 2 wires IMG_1026 by riored4v, on Flickr For splicing the factory SiriusXM antenna, you have to remove this clip after taking the cable out of the factory head unit IMG_1024 by riored4v, on Flickr You can then put it in the aftermarket tuner. Its a slightly loose fit, so some epoxy was used on the outside portion. IMG_1023 by riored4v, on Flickr Tuner in place IMG_1025 by riored4v, on Flickr Mess of wires from the ADS harness IMG_1022 by riored4v, on Flickr Also had to run the GPS wire through the dash. Decided to mount mine in the middle of the dash in front of the light sensor IMG_1037 by riored4v, on Flickr Then you plug the RR module in to the computer, program it and flash it and it fires everything up. IMG_1031 by riored4v, on Flickr Unit come with a ton of different buttons so you can customize the layout of the dash kit. Not getting loud
1 point"feel" it "should" No one can help you with that; however, from your other thread I can guess that you are rather lost and perhaps should acquire some help in the install. Playing with anything on your own may be the death of your driver. With the small amount of info you've shared we can't direct you either.1 point

1 pointAs a new company that firmly believes in proper testing procedures, and plans on expanding into amplifiers I would be interested if your product has been test benched against other industry recognized standards such as Audio Precision or Sound cube. Or better yet has ISO 17025:2005 certificates, or am I misunderstanding the nature of this product?1 point

01 'Zuk vs 18" xcon
1 pointWell guys, been minute. The box for the 18 is in my bedroom.lol While the IA is sent off for recone....and another xcon fell in my lap. So hopefully it'll be here Tuesday, and I be back to bumping proper.LOL I'll probably use the IA in my burb for a while, or sell it. I also have my Singer alternator here. Been here for a few weeks- haven't even opened the box. Been fighting some health issues for a bit, so I haven't much felt like wrenching on anything...1 point

Jacob's Jeep : 4x SA-12s + 4500D = 153.8 dB
Planning to run this setup for nSPL Finals this weekend... needed to stay under 5000 watts on the nSPL clamp meters. On my meter it clamped exactly 4000 watts last night which should be 4700-5000 on their clamps. Tuning is in the high 30s and peaks at 47 Hz... tuned to 30 Hz and also peaking at 47 Hz it was about 1.8 dB quieter but still not bad at all, IMO. I plan to try cutting the ports down a bit more to see if I can get a tad more from it on the meter... may or may not get that done before the Finals event. Best score with just me in the Jeep was 153.8 and with Nick from Stereo Integrity in it as well we got 154.0 dB -- sealed on the dash. * One SAZ-4500D chilling out on my amp rack. Running at 0.25 ohms for burps -- re-wires to 1 ohm for daily. * 3x 6" Aero-Ports... box is a hair over 6 cubes with my shortened ports. Almost exactly 6 cubes with full length ports. Team Sundown Derrick build this box for me. * One NSB-G3100 in this corner. * Added an XS Power D3100 this morning... score did not increase but my voltage doesn't drop as bad on burps and I'll be able to play music longer of course! * Standard DEKA starting battery. * External voltage regulator. * Excessive Amperage 225-amp alternator. Have been running this for about 2 years now.-1 points
