I rocked out flat bench today. Most weight I've ever done. 1x10 @ 85lbs dumb bells, then 1x10, 1x8 & 1x7 @ 90lbs DB, gave myself a few seconds rest on the last set and got 5 more reps @85lbs again. Probably weak sauce to you guys, but at 180lbs myself that's more than my body weight and I've only been lifting since Feb. And to put that into perspective...I have my book from my senior year weights class in high school, which I was in the entire school year. My max DB bench was 1x10 @ 65lbs + 1x10 @ 70lbs. So in 4 months lifting at 32years old I'm significantly stronger than I was at 17/18 years old after close to a year of lifting.
