To answer the original question; No, they are not worth it. Not sure why you can't use less expensive RCA's throughout multiple installs as well. Or hell, if they were cheap enough don't waste your time pulling them from the car. Send them with the car, buy another affordable pair and still be ahead money, and time.Very few people need to use a warranty on cables. Of the few that do, it is still cheaper to buy multiples of a more affordable cable than to buy one expensive cable (and then potentially have to deal with trying to get it warrantied). Plus a warranty is only good if the company is still in business and, no offense, statistically you have a very low probability of being around mid to long term. Likewise if he is using a UTP cable and doesn't experience noise, then the shielding isn't going to matter

  4. this was a proud moment. To some it may not be impressive and to others it may. But it felt good and is just a starting point. luckily I didnt blow my subs before this. I went a little two crazy giving demos and slinkied one and blew a hole in a coil of another. Now I should say that I am running these 7k's at .5 per sub. Thats a crazy amount of power for any sub. since it was a 2 day show the next day i burped on just 2 subs and got this. that was a first the other since i had a show the next weekend B2 was able to get me recones out with 2 day shipping from denmark.

  6. lmao, I do not cook moisture out of my steaks except for my granny who wants her shit burnt regardless what type of steak it is. I was giving brief descriptions of what I do, trust me I know how to cook a steak. I cook for about 20 people every single weekend and have since me and my wife got married 15 years ago. I do not put any salt inside the meat, or any other type of powder substance. If any salt goes on its on the outside. I let all my steaks rest after cooking, I have alot of different ways I will cook them based on what people ask for or what mood we are all in. After watching every episode of Pit Masters I started experimenting with different techniques and am hooked. Your personal taste of how a steak should be cooked or its flavor may be totally different than someone elses. What seems strange to me is you assuming that your way of cooking a steak is the only "right" way. I was just sharing what I like to do, nothing more. But I'm not so close minded that I think my way is the best and only way something should be done so I will look into the Kosher salt and try some of your recommendations on my next steak night. But to say your cooking a steak wrong if you have to inject it is just wrong. I dont "have" to inject it at all, but right now I am loving what I'm doing at the moment and will continue. I grew up eating southern style food so our tastes may be completely different.
  7. How's it sounding with the new enclosure. Pics and mid and highs amp I personally don't think you can go wrong with the ppi900.4 or the 600.2. Great power, small footprint.
  8. I am extremely jealous of that sweet Danish !!!!! I just got a m1s and absolutely love it. Great work and super clean, looking forward to the rest
  9. LOL, I like how he couldn't get the door open fast enough.
  10. Picked up a sign from brent leavitt from low notes garage...I'm sure some of you have seen his signs around...they are awesome. new vinyl on the headliner. all amps in. some cooling for the amps. updated beauty panel with the b2 sign. the crazy relay panel. vinyl of the front of the wall
  11. whole lotta amps. This was fun to carry. Then I realized to install it correctly i was going to have to pull them back off. Looking at installing these in a different way to improve looks. to help airflow i cut out the wheel wells to help air flow as the step there actually ended up being closer to the motor than i wanted. was a bitch to cut out. and first bit of resin on.
  12. Let me start off with this. My boss at work. I work at a lumber mill. The supervisor at our sawmill heard my stereo and though they had lost a bearing on one of the major machine centers. I have no idea how he heard my stereo since the office is in the middle of the sawmill but I thought it was funny. Got a hell of a deal (1900 shipped) for 2 used m1s so that puts me up to 4 total now. updated from the single a/b quattro I had to 2 of the h-class quattros. more power and a little smaller. got the maestro with the kenwood and it hooks up to the obd2 port so i can get diagnostics on my car. Pretty sweet. Picked up some new vinyl for the inside.

Or hell, there is nothing proprietary about your cables. He could probably buy the materials and build an equally good cable for less than yours are selling for unless you are getting really, really good discounts on materials.
  14. I hate people at the gym who sit at the machine or workbenches to fuck with their phone after their set. GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY. It's a small gym so there is only ONE of everything, and no one else can use it to workout if your just fucking chillin' at the machine
  15. Mock up is looking like it will be simple enough

Depending on your application and budget, they may or may not be "worth it" for you. All of our cables are shielded, constructed with very nice cable and connectors that tightly grip RCA jacks, and come with a lifetime warranty. Personally, I would prefer buying one nice set of RCA cables I could use throughout multiple installs rather than buy multiple cheap sets of RCAs. As far as twisted pair goes - unless you have balanced differential outputs/inputs then they're borderline useless. In car audio, differential is very rarely used (symbilink uses it) and when differential isn't used, shielding is the #1 form of noise rejection. Cable routing is still important as always, but even passing over stock wiring can introduce noise, which can be unavoidable in many cars. One last thing - all of our cables are assembled in the USA and tested before we ship them out.
