I had 2 sets of the JBL 660gti in my ground pounder , they were by far the best components I have ever owned so far and I would not hesitate to use them again but a buddy of mine is the main Focal rep for the BC interior ...... he just had to show of the #7 component kit to me I'm thinking on using the Utopia's , put the midbass in the doors and the tweets and mids up in the pillars ... only decision is going fully active or use the cross block if I use the cross block I can still bi amp and use time alignment ... less chance of popping those tweeters he wanted to sell me the new Focal Utopia Ultima component set serial #002 ( pic below )but I think my wife would divorce me and never let me see my kids again......she would probably have me commited and put away...... LOL

How about a contest to name the next entry into the SSA brand? A woofer, amp, fuse holder, etc. Member with the winning entry gets one free. J

Its in the prefab box, eXcelon Series KFC-XW1000F Subwoofer, and only handles 250 watts rms. I doubt it would perform well in a ported enclosure, but thatnks for the advice. A good box is just as important than the driver.
