  3. Evil 12s havnt seen an evil 12 build yet
  4. With your given dimensions with a double layer all the way around you'll end up around 6.5 cubes before displacement. Really any of those subs should be just fine in 6.5 cubes. I am quite partial to the Evils and Zcons, the SP4 and Mayhem are also excellent choices.
  5. I will also restate the mirrorless. If you won't buy serious glass the only reason to buy a DSLR is the viewfinder. If you've never used one though you won't miss it.
  6. Uh oh, somebody forgot to pay the bill
  7. pucking KANGAROO
  8. For $1000 you could grab a used Canon 70d, 50mm 1.8, 24mm 2.8 STM. I'd bet for $100 more you could even get the 1.4 50 instead. Add any of the L 70-200 down the road to it and there is NO situation you can't take amazing shots in. You'd be out nothing trying to sell any of the above as well if you buy them right. WAY better to buy used now and figure out what you like and don't. Real expensive otherwise. The "Kit" you are looking at is a throw away in 5 ish years where what I threw up will still have a ton of value. Doesn't mean it won't take great pictures though. That is more the photographer. One thing I'd bet though, you won't be using your point and shoot anymore. I still wouldn't rule out mirrorless though. That platform will continue to grow.
  9. Laughed way too hard...
  10. Do not buy anything with a kit lens. They all suck donkey. Buy an older body and better glass for the same dough
  11. So Gavin picked what I would call a hybrid. He wants to go to the bike park with me, but said he wanted to ride trails to, se he chose this one .
  12. Knowing what you plan on shooting would be super awesome. There is a huge difference in what you want in your bag depending on what you shoot. Sean can travel with a wide and maybe standard prime and be GTG for any travels. Then he wants to shoot the kids and my big white lens turns into the best choice. Maybe a 24-70 since he is using a crop. Knowing the style of photos you like also changes what you pick. If you like color and isolation, you can fake a shallow DOF by Using a longer zoom rather than just a really wide aperature. Tons of tricks you can exploit so you can make your experience better. If you have a budget and expectations I'll give you the best options from all the big brands.
  13. Ironically I lived in a Polish suburb of Buffalo for a few years, South Cheektowaga. I still have a lot of Polish friends from up there. I loved eating at their houses... Polish food kicks ass. Never had Polish beer though.
  14. This is the bike I had back in the day. Mine was yellow frame, yellow mags, and white tires. Ross Piranha
  15. Been somewhat busy with it Candy apple red calipers Stainless steel brake pistons Old vs new
  16. Like most things I'd recommend used. Easier to figure out what you want as it will change. In particular with glass. I'd also avoid Sony like the plague...
  17. I prefer to come in her can
