i have a 73% hearing loss in my left ear and cant tell when it changes... so setting it by ear is out i need some form of control.

i have noticed that the new amps have no way of letting you know where you are setting the Freq at... i.e older PPi amps have notched pod switches, so you could count the clicks to let you know what freq: you were setting to !!! if i set the SSF to 24 clicks ( counter clockwise ) i knew it would play no lower than 23Hz and if i set the LP filter to 18 clicks ( counter clockwise ) i would play no higher than 122Hz now they use cheep generic pod switchs, and nothing printed to give the user a clue as to were you are on the freq: graph... WTF happened ? are they saving that much money using the cheeper pod switch ?

Just got a 2000 Ford Explorer "Limited" so im looking @ doing a 4 15" setup asap gotta get an alarm first then install

im sure i missed it but which way is the port fireing ? ^>< up left or right ? sub direction? mic position ? im shure theres more than a few more 10ths of a db in there somewhere ! all of the big trunk hitters have the subs fireing into the car w/back seat down, and boxx pushed into the oppenning, w/ 2 12" or 2 15" ported forward...and an amp on ea sub

if your using the Usaci cd go to track 19 do the Sweep wile the mic is in your car, it will give you a pretty good idea where your Freq is... it will show on the screen what note you peeked loudist @... start there burp for 4 sec and move up... also start @ a moderate volume and roll up the volume wile burping, giving the mic a chance to get a good read on the presure... helps with impedance rise & amps going into protect mode wile burppppppppppppppping

Are you thinking before you're typing? its all good he's new to car audio and very excited... we can help him... he gets a few things confused but it will all come with practice...and a lot of hard work

last night went to FtWorth Tx for the TBP show http://community.webshots.com/album/560068...vhost=community spoke with the SoundStream rep... so far so good hes going to speak with Team SS and see if we can get me a SS 6500xxx amp... also sopke with Todd Zier at great length about USACI and rules that change for no reason just before finals ? he seemed pissed !!??!! well on to the good stuff i got to sit in the TREO truck and get a Hooters Lap Dance i am in the passanger seat, Fred SoundStream rep in drivers seat, Todd Zier in reflection, everything else is Pure HOOTERS............................ T&A i did a frankin (chopp)boxx just to play with and did 148.5db @ 53Hz... got 1st place
