  1. u never know who is behind a forum user name , their knowledge , experience or what they have accomplished so u cannot assume that i do not know what i am talking about or think that u are teaching me new something that i didnt already know yrs ago i do not want to get into any immature pissing match so u guys go right ahead
  2. are u saying a sub is rated 600wrms so get a 600wrms amp ? if u & anybody else wants to do that then thats cool i will put a 600wrms amp or probably more on mine like i already have been doing with the couple of IA subs i have owned & worked with
  3. wow thanks for all the fantastic replies guys - its greatly appreciated soooo very much
  4. i recently noticed in the SSA store that ts specs are now being provided for most of the IA subs are those specs correct & is IA now sharing its specs with the public ?
  5. what sense it is to be sarcastic to a guy asking a innocent question ? , if forum members dont know the answer then u simply shud not post useless answers it is advised to have sufficient headroom on any amp for any sub , usually 20% more amp power is good so if its a 1000wrms rated sub u buy a 1200wrms amp in the case of any of IA sub they can handle about 13-12 more power than rated if its a pair ur going to get : i'd recommend like a 1800-2000wrm amp provided the enclosure & install is being done properly of course
  6. ^^ contributing to the actual topic would have been more beneficial instead of correcting my short-hand internet lingo
  7. nice , nobody will even know u recycled it lol
  8. if its a really stiff subs the fastest way to me was to have the subs out of the box in free air & play 20hz cycles at low volume for a couple hrs per day until they loosen up
  9. yes it will be a cool system to have but cone area isnt always everything id rather use a single sub or 2 with more power to achieve the same result & still be able to see out my rear windows & get better gas mileage too but hey thats just me
  10. not trying to be a discouraging hater but why a wall & all that space, weight & work for just 1200wrms ?
  11. i just got a I series 10" & was wondering if the same specs for the 187 will do even though the sub itself seems to be smaller ?
  12. i think i was searching for car audio forums to see whats out there & found ssa

  19. im not really a fan of reusing those plastic mounts if the surface is flat where its going then by using the mounts as a template it shud be easy to make some new wood rings
