Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Beachcomber 720I think 325 gallons. I bet your stoked! Perfect size for a couple in my opinion. Heats up quick, takes less energy. I use mine 2-3 times a week. Nothing like a 40 minute soak, shower, and an ergo-motion bed afterwards. Makes me sleep like a baby.

If you got nothing better to do why not get off your pedal stool, and make me some synonym rolls.

They still have great highway manors, with plenty of leading edges and sipping. The plus side is they look more aggressive like the mudders at first glance.

Bought the wifey new tyres for the Xterra. The BFG K/O's of course. They redesigned the shoulder on them and added alittle sidewall tread.

It don't feel warm today! Depending on what minute is with this flu, I am either freezing or burning up. Was a joke by the way. After reading like 80 pages to catch up from where I left off in the hop, figured I better comment to bookmark.

Anyone ever had any experience with this Fountek driver?
Can't say that i miss tweeters in my current install. Both full rangers are on axis with the drivers seat. There is little to none missing from the FR. Maybe the top octave being a tad weak. Honestly not noticeable with the music I listen to, as theres so little information that high. I had a truck about 10 years ago with 10" woofers and 1" tweeters installed. Hands down I would do the full range route, if doing a two way that has a 10-12" mid. On the other hand I don't see the return being great enough with a 7" midbass, to have a dedicated midrange and tweeter. The extra equipment and mounting of a 3-way with a small midbass seems like so little gained from the extra effort. With a large midbass reaching upwards of 300-500hz, I can see the advantage of a true 3-way. Maybe I am missing a facet or two.

Unfortunately some people do not know how to take criticism very well.

First day of heavy snow. Not surprising, everyone forgets how to drive. Seen a few wrecks on the way in to work.

My boss gave a new tatt machine today as a bonus. Was waiting for the camera battery to post pics, but hey i'm excited. Is a Mickey Sharps brand, which has been around since the 50's. The thing that sets these machines apart is the ductile iron frame that gives the electrical circuit extra inductance. This gives the machine a wide range of operation. From super soft for powder shading all the way to a packing machine. Basically like two machines in one.

If the midrange is on axis and mounted with a tweeter, a 4" or 5" should work stellar with the appropriate processing?

15" DCON in 4 cuft. tuned to 35hz with 82in of port. These subs are crazy efficient and sound extremely smooth on so many different genres of music. People seem to get carried away and think they need the highest power rating sub available to get loud and sound good. These people have never demo'd a DCON as it would change their minds real quick. I am stoked I gave this sub a try. I have been very impressed with the performance AND output. Thanks SSA for an above average sub in this class!!- One thing I hate about installing..
