Exactly what I've always thought just was having a hard time explaining it to him. He says for a long run then maybe its OK but for the big 3 and any run under 5` its stupid. As far as upgrading in the future... hit that nail on the head lol. Always. Thanks for the responses.

I've always ran 1/0 power and grounds on my systems.. 2 situations I've ran into.. 1. My dad is ALWAYS telling me I should run 4awg wire, thinks 1/0 is way too much. Almost as if its bad to run a wire that size.. my system isn't huge just a sundown1500 another ~600 rms highs amp with a ho alt...is that just an old school way of thinking? 2. I recently bought a bunch of 1/0 CCA knukonceptz wire and I think I'd rather go with some OFC instead. Friend of mine has recently bought a audiopipe 1500 from me and has no wire. Stock everything..I want to sell him all this CCA wire I have to buy what I really want.. my original thinking is it should work fine (after adapting to 4 GA for the amp input) but my dad keeps getting me thinking lol. Is there any negatives here? I prefer the bigger wire regardless but should I be considering the smaller wire in these smaller installs? Just need some reassurance or something. Thanks

Don't think it will matter. For 1200 watts I would run one amp. Probably cheaper to run one.

Find where the sub rates its rms power.. times by 2. Shoot for that much power if you can afford it.

Nice looking enclosure. Mine came packed up pretty good if yours was similar then ups straight up dropped it off a truck lol.

Had rick and garret build me an enclosure (alerion) and it was perfect. Communication was great, prices were good packed their enclosure well. will be doing more business with them in the future. If you need an enclosure don't hesitate.

Yea I used a flash lol. Not to mention all the cardboard dust I made from ripping it open.. alot cleaner looking in person but oh well lol.

Got my enclosure today... its just as described. Packed well, took me several minutes to un wrap it lol. Pleasure doing business with Rick and Garrett. Communication was great, product is great quality and for a great price. You guys will be getting more of my business in the future. I'm starting to reconsider even using a crescendo amp.. it irritates me they haven't fixed the website in SEVERAL months, then I have to email them 3 times to get a response. Company is on the verge of pissing me off. No way in hell I'll run a skar amp, sundowns have always been good to me but I don't want to exactly spend that much

Purchased the fosgate t400-4. Should do fine for me. I'm just powering some components. Bridged will give me a little headroom to the set's.

That is a possibility. I can spend more just trying to see what people suggest. I've had an eye on the sax100.4. Had my eye on the zed draconia II too but that thing is damn expensive and I don't feel I'll be using it to its potential so its not worth the $550 or so to me Fosgate t400-4 also crossed my mind and its in the price range. Bridged it has enough power for me..

I need to pick out an amp for my front stage. As of right now the vehicle is bone stock..I've purchased a set of 6.5 components (fosgate power t1's). I plan to run them using the supplied passive crossovers in stock locations. Have no plans to run an active setup anytime soon but who knows what will happen in the future. I would like to spend under $250 but could possibly spend more if there is a good reason too. Looking for about 100x4 @ 4ohms and bridgable. I have a MB quart dsc4125 in another vehicle and its OK but want something else for this vehicle. What's out there that's worth a crap?
