- BASS FLEX.....A In-Depth Look and How-To-Film
flex is one of the only ways to show how powerful a system is on youtube. besides that it is kinda useless. good video and you did explain yourself just fine in the video.- Amp Rack/ False Floor
as long as it supports the weight of whats on top of it i dont see the problem.- RichyMitch925 2003 Chevy Tahoe
im tuned in also, love builds in suv's. so much room to do whatever is needed.- Small S10 build
hell yea. nice video's. subscribed- MECA Sacramento Feb 12th AUTORAMA
First db drag/meca show ive ever been to. very impressed. Gary Killian's ride is a beast and so was the majority of people out there. and i thought i have a strong system lol. glad i didnt enter. 1 18" btl wouldnt have hung out there for damn sure.- MECA Sacramento Feb 12th AUTORAMA
anyone have any idea what time this event starts? ive looked everywhere. doors open at 10am, just unsure of when I can catch the car's competing. would like to make sure i dont get there too late.- SA-12 vs. Treo TSX
wish more people would do test's like this. just purchased a Treo SSX and would of loved to see a good review on it before i bought it.- Help Me Hit the Lows
another prefab box fail. get in touch with a box designer on here and build it yourself. should be able to get the most out of those subs that route.- system on a $600 to $700 budget
do with d2 for that sub, not d1. dual 2 can be wired down to 1 ohm, a dual 1 cannot- Noob from Concord, CA Bay Area
you hit up one of those tire shops on charter way they sure are cheap lol.- Small S10 build
im 6'1 . about 3.3ish cubes and a single 15 has me wayy to far forward (sub FORWARD not up) no tilt wheel either so that hurts me also.- Noob from Concord, CA Bay Area
Welcome, alot of bay area people showin up lately. Hope to see some Stockton people here someday.- Small S10 build
alot of room if your a little guy.- Small S10 build
i love seeing pics of system's in s10's. for the longest time i couldn't find anything to gether idea's from. yours looks good also, i think next week ill get started on mine..again.. was wondering where i could fit a battery at and after seeing your pics ill remove the little folding seat in the back. perfect spot.- Nice Sealed Box
the lowes around here cant cut worth a shit.- got some questions for crx set up
So you have 2 15" icons, but you havent decided on which subs yet.. but you want a 1 ohm stable amp. unsure of what coils to get the subs in for your amp to see ~1ohm. hope i got that right.. if your going to run 2 subs get dual 1 ohm coils on BOTH. if its just 1 sub then get dual 2 ohm coils. Im not familiar with that vehicle's space, maybe you should provide some dimensions you have to work with so people can give you some options, also explain what your goal is for this system so you can pick the right sub(s). I sure there is other people in here who have done system's in those vehicles that can be more help.- box build for 12" mtx 9500 x2
as long as your happy then you did it right. good job on your first build.- Group buy US Amps Merlin MD-21 | EDIT >Price Drop!!
yea i got mine yesterday, decent little amp, package came busted to shit and the plexi bottom was caved in a little bit, but no biggie i guess. not going to showcase this amp anyways- Q or Bl
OP, give this a read.. not sure that box will fit your goals too well. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxes6.asp- Q or Bl
ive used a 12" Q and a 15" Q. I think they are very clean sounding, as for spl not so wonderful. I have never heard a W7, heard 2 w6's and hated em. No experience with a BL or a '6th order bandpass box'. I think you should be trying to find out how the 2 will perform in your specific enclosure. Maybe one of the more advanced users can chime in on 6th order boxes. maybe a 6th order doesnt fit your goals? Ive also never heard a single complaint about an Xcon. i cant think of any complaints on the BL either as far as SQ goes, but then again most people who buy the BL aren't chasing SQ either.- Is the sundow 3000d a good amp choice for a btl18?
Gotta disagree there deto.. ive had a ton of systems in the past.. mostly kicker or some off the shelf bs. never really ran a ported enclosure before, for damn sure no extra battery's/ ho alts.. my first system i did that i took seriously used a gen 2 BTL... Still love it everyday I hear it. If you plan well and research what it is your going to do then a BTL will be great. I didnt really have the money when i started building my tahoe but i was set on a BTL also (thank youtube for that). But i did my homework, saved up the money needed to do it right. collected all the equipment needed then installed it. Never be afraid to ask questions, just provide people with the info they need to guide you. If you want an extreme amount of bass and your stuck on a BTL then go for it man, just do it right or just dont bother.- Planet Audio BB1400.1 vs ap15001d
cant see it even mattering unless your competing. As far as i know audiopipe's put out what they are rated for. as for more i dont know.- Planet Audio BB1400.1 vs ap15001d
ive used an audiopipe 1500... never tested to see what it does, but going off listed specs, planet audio is 1400 watts @ 1 ohm (ignore the 1900 watts MAX is bs). audiopipe is 1500rms @ 1 ohm.. looks like 100 watt difference.. not audible. I prefer a company that doesnt list max wattage lol. when they list max wattage it just turns me away. - BASS FLEX.....A In-Depth Look and How-To-Film
