  1. $90 for 2 15" icons? Any more of these denim?
  2. every local shop around me charges an outrageous amount for anl fuses, over $10 if i remember. think one day i needed an anl fuse holder and fuse and i left there paying almost $40 (stinger of course). just too damn much if you ask me, better to just buy online in my opinion.
  3. i personally have used an audiopipe 1500d and it wasnt bad at all, wouldnt hesitate to buy another. sells for about 150-160 on ebay. decent amp for sure. although a little less power than your looking for. others here seem to like audioque for the price. sundown would be even better but at a little higher price. alot of people use hifonics amp's too but from just hanging around here for a while reading misc posts it would be at the bottom of my list of amps i would run.
  4. knukoncepts is around $5 per fuse, looks like parts express has em for cheap parts-express not sure if the cheaper ones are the right ones, they say wafer fuse's which ive never heard of, but they look like the ANL fuses? 3.90 a pop isnt bad if they are the same ones.
  5. cant really suggest anything with no information. Do you have any goals for this system? budget? what knd of vehicle? what kind of music do you listen to?
  6. I think the noob guidelines should be FORCED upon new people. maybe make a video, or a short test on the guidelines before being able to post here. some of these threads are RIDICULOUS!
  7. its rated at 2000 rms and you want to put 2 2500w amps to it? Fi offers recones for when you blow it. you should be fine
  8. you may want to review this before other's jump in here -> Read will help you in using the forums here.
  9. ok.. first off i dont suggest you go and hook up 3 1OHM DVC subs like that to just any amp. 2nd you just divide. (3) DVC subs has 6 coils..(2 per sub). just say you have 1500 watts.. divided by 3 would be....500 per sub.. or 250 per coil. Im not really understanding why you posted this here, if your trying to put together a system and dont understand give us ALL the info, what amp your using, what subs, what electrical upgrades, and anything else you plan on using. With all the info we can help you in the right direction. If its just a pretend question and you dont plan on using it on anything then there is an answer. divide the power by the coils for a rough estimate of whats going to each coil.

ferd one is great, laughed my ass off on that one.
  11. uhm... whatever power that amp makes at that ohm load divided by 3 for each sub, divided by 6 for each coil? odd question. edit.. yellow writing is hard as HELL to see. lol wouldnt that be a 1.34 ohm load?
  12. i did a box along time ago for 2 12" CVR's tuned at i think it was 38hz. sounded pretty damn good for kicker if you ask me. running off a audiopipe 1500 @ 1 ohm (little overpowered so what). my .02 cents. edit: in a trunk car cant remember the box volume at all, i used what kicker recommended.
  13. voted also.
  14. what are you looking to get out of this sub? what kind of goals? maybe with the right information the guys here can help you out and get it right the first time
  15. Show me your proof and your alternator building experience, not just what you heard or read on the internet. ^^ reason right there why you will never catch me speaking on stuff i know nothing about. wish everyone else would do the same.
  16. most of these stupid threads annoy the shit out of me.. this one makes me laugh. Everyone just give him the attention he wants so he can go crawl back in his hole.
  17. lol, employee discount would be nice
  18. price drop suckered me in. now i need to figure out what to do with this thing lol hope i dont come on tomorrow to see an even lower price :-/
  19. i cant believe this has made it 5 pages. REALLY needs to be erased. nothing useful or anything in this thread
  20. woofersetc is legit, you can buy from their ebay or directly from there website. your safe with them
  21. all you can do is provide the facts. i love my gen2 btl also but with the facts given i wouldnt hesitate to buy the n2's
  22. yea, going in from the back seat is how you will have to do it, or just build it inside of the trunk. i had cut sheets for a single 15" Fi Q to go in my friends car, it would have taken the majority of the trunk. he ended up wanting to keep his 12 and not fool with it. good luck with whatever you do and post up pics, im always trying to convince my friend to go bigger in his grand prix.
