Eh, tubes, they are for the pussies... (just joking Jim... ) There wouldn't be any fun in this hobby if it were all plug and chug equipment. The XLR is nice for people like me running full rack equipment though.

Finished my 6th 'Bud Select about 10 minutes ago, now back at my place and bout to start back up again, unless I can work my way into getting some, then its a different story.

I've never had the privlege of mapping out a horn really so I can't comment on that. Would like the opportunity though.

I hate calculus, don't real fond of physics, science isn't to bad though. It seems kinda odd for me to be an EE major, I can drive pretty much anything with wheels (grew up on a farm), semis, tractors, fabricate with wood and steel, MIG/TIG/ARC weld, work on cars, fix crap, work with livestock, love to be on the road driving, love the outdoors and actually doing something. While to me the typical EE job is sitting behind the desk figuring stuff out on a piece of paper or a computer program doing routine stuff.

Everyone I know has told me that they are glad that I'm an EE major, and it suits me and so on and so forth. But to be honest, I'm not sure that EE is for me, its to much theory based and small stuff that isn't hands on. I'm more of a hands on type of guy, hell I'd bet quite a few EE majors couldn't even tell you how to wire a damn light switch. Hell if I know what I want to do, being owner/operator of a fabrication shop would be pretty f'ing sweet though.

Eh, I don't know what I want to do, I haven't known for 19 years. All I really enjoy doing is building/desiging/breaking stuff. Really not to fond of engineering stuff, I just don't get calculus and chit.

The more I think about it, the more becoming a state trooper/cop sounds like a good idea. Get paid to drive around, around guns all day, etc, etc, dosen't sound like that bad of an idea. Beats hell outa engineering classes.
