Thanks. First Gens are the best and I love the 4.3L Vortecs. It's just a 350 block with the front 2 cylinders knocked off. Has alot of low end with that shift kit in there. Think whatever the tranny came out of was definitely geared higher than this Blazer.

Build to commence over the next few months as funds allow. Here's the truck for now... 4.3L Vortec, 700r4 w/ Shift Kit Representin... Ballin On A Budget custom doors ready for mids and highs (Lulz, I know it's ghetto, but will have to do till I can get some pods glassed.)... All gear should be ordered by mid August at the latest. This is going to be a 39.9 bass race budget build. Whole system will be under $1k. 4 HFi12D4's in a BassHeadsEnt.net custom subs up, port back enclosure ~30Hz 2 APSM-1300's strapped at 2 ohms 1 AQX-360.4 4 Pyle PPA6 6" mids 2 Pyle PSN1165 4.35" Square Dispersion Horn Piezo Tweeters 1 Clarion CZ501 for source Stay tuned, will update as progress is made .

Awesome build bro. Just read thru the whole thing and I gotta say, props on havin the balls to wall your car let alone bein one of the few to have done it in your country. Then doin the actuall build yourself. Respect bruh.

Technically, in a perfect world, 2 12's would have higher spl than 1 15 on same power due to more cone area. But EVERYTHING in car audio is install dependent. You could put the same equipment in two identical cars in two identical builds and get different results. Personally, I have done both and just like a single sub setup better. Trial and error is the game around here.

Plenty of great brands to choose from. You got Fi, Ascendant Audio, Incriminator Audio, DC Audio, Sundown, Skar, SSA, so on and so on. Find one that fits your needs and goals. Personally, with your power and car I would suggest a single 15. Fi SSD 15, AA Chaos 15, Sundown SA-15, IA Leathal Injection 15. Whatever you decide as far as subs, once your ready to consider the enclosure hit up BassHeadsEnt.net, whether you want a design done so you can build yourself or just want them to go ahead and build it to ship out to you they got you covered. "New" 4 channel amp for my highs. 22 year old Sony XM-5540 4 channel bridged at 240 (underrated) rms x 2 @ 4 ohms to my 4 Selenium 6w4p's. Really brought them to life. Never had anything sound so CLEAN in my life. This thing is a current hog though. I drop .5 volts with just the highs playing full tilt, lol. Absolutely love it. Trying to get the guy who is loaning it to me to sell it. He has a matching XM-5540F from 91' (had built in x-over, mine don't) in his car. Only 2 we know of. Make with the pics. Bottom one is mine. Thanks guys . I LOVE IT! Finding any reason to drive somewhere, lol. The HFi's are AWESOME little subs. I am thoroughly impressed with them and will not hesitate to recomend them or use them again myself. Sub took rms power in a box that was too big and tuned high sounded good doing it and never bottomed out. I did drop it below tuning once or twice, but it just flopped, never bottomed out.
