About 900 for fuel, 300 for trailer, 300+ for the show......food, fun, incidentals.

I'm gone untill Tuesday and would would have to leave Thursday for finals. And I still have no gas monies.

I has a blown sub and no gas monies.

If your looking for 4k clamped I would not choose a 3.5k amp. Manufactures ratings and real world power are two different things. Sure someone has probably squeezed 4k out of a smaller amp but not at a daily ohm load.

Enought for 1st at the show. But I expected more out of it with all the changes. I've done the same score with half the power.

I don't want people to read this and think oh zcons can't take the power. I don't think is had much to do with power. Heres the coil I pulled from the same sub when I pulled it. This is after many demos and nearly 5k clamped burps.. Look as this coil. Looks brand new.

Thanks Swift, I can usually muster up a high 159. Today was a little low. Anything over about 157 gets pretty uncomfortable. I'm shooting for a 160 if I make it to Indy for finals.

I think just the glue broke loose at the triple joint, sending the coil into the dust cap. I was clamping my amps when it happened. 4875w each amp. During the test I cranked the volume on pause then hit play, rather than rolling into it. Quite ballistic when it hits at full tilt.

Gulf coast classic show today. I clamped 4900w out of my 5ks. I think I found the limit of the zcons.

I'll be on the Usaci side most of the time.

You can always enter a few other classes, you never know, you might find your calling @ $150 per entry....

Well looks like finals is a go for me. The blue won't be done so it might look funny. Also my DC 5ks are fine for local comps but at finals they are more strict on ratings. I'll have to run in the highest MOD class and ill probably get my ass handed to me. Streetbeat 4 will be my other class. I'll probably get beat there too but should be an experience!

It's two weeks before world finals for most of us. Build houses are slammed right now is why there telling you this.
