anybody know of any good component sets for around 100$,size 6.5 with 1 inch tweeters.i been lookink at kiker ks but there around 150$.

I am gonna be running 2 sets of kicker ks 6.5 component sets,i believe they are 100 watts rms.i am looking for a decent amp to run them,my budget is up to about 200$.any suggestions?

Has anyone heard the dcons?I was looking to do a little setup in my girls car and i was wondering if 3 12' dcons would get loud on 1000 watt rms?

it would be pushing two 12' icons,alot of people say stock electric would be ok with 1000 watts.my alt is 160 amp,if i have to add electrical i will.

What amp would put out more watts.The saz 1000 or the audioque 1200 taking it that sundown puts out more than rated.Its on stock electrical

I just heard 2 10'inch icons on 800 watts and dam they bang,not sure how deep they are.

jlaudio is a dollar a watt,so for the price of the 1000/1 you can get the saz3500.I know which one im getting,but jlaudio`s highs are very good..

Does anyone know if you can order the xcon dust cap to be like the icon subwoofers?I like that sunk in look looks beefy..

My car is a dodge charger,my system will consist of 2 12"subwoofers maybe "maybe 15 inch woofers if they fit.my two extra batteries can go in my spare tire area and my amp can be mounted on back of my seat.my woofers will be running off a saz3500,my question is will my setup get way luder if my box ports through the rear deck?or shold i do a box toward the rear of my car with the ports on the side?i dont mind doing a port in my rear deck if its gonna get alot louder that way..

Choose the size of woofer based on the enclosure, I chose 12" woofers because their enclosure was the largest that would fit in my trunk. its 54" inches long You have about 18 ft.3 gross to work with, 15's would work well as they Nightshades slightly smaller enclosures, you wouldn't utilize your entire trunk leaving room for batteries and amplifiers. thank you duran..

The differences are how they will perform in a given environment. The XCON performs well in low tuned SQ oriented applications, where the Nightshade is more of a balls out loud woofer. I own Nightshades and they perform very well, I also want to try the XCONs though. Both have similar power ratings. well duran i listen to rap music,i want it to hit really hard not to sure what a low tune sq setup is.can you explain that.sorry for not understanding. Most rap bass lines are between 35-45 Hz. which is where the Nightshades perform very well. The XCONs like to be tuned between 27-33 Hz. what are you running on your nightshades? A Sundown SAZ-3000D, they've taken it like champions are you running 12 inch woofers or 15`s would there be a big difference between those two sizes in a trunk?

my question is which subwoofer would be better for me the ssa xcon or the sundown nightshade,my setup will be running off a saz 3500.Now i have heard the xcon`s there great woofers but i have never heard the nightshades.Its a dodgr charger daily driver.It will be 12 inch woofers unless i can squezze 15`s in my trunk..Thanks for any help.

Today i met up with (sound vibration)he is running 2 icon 10 inch subs off a swiss 2000 amp.His amp is only giving each woofer 400 watts,all i can say is the ssa line are the best subwoofers i have ever heard.when my brother got out his car i said "how did you like'his answer was that shit wiggled my ears! And he got some big ass ears to wiggle lol...Big ups to Mark and Denim for such a bad ass woofer..

Heard marks truck and wanted to know who the hell made that bad ass woofer lol...
