Why made you go with kicker? If i read correctly your going to tune 18Hz, i see a rebuild in your future man a little close to double that should be nice

I still use my ear for tuning, so start out with the input level with your HU at roughly 3/4 volume, adjust the level to a point where you can hear audible stress on the subwoofer and then back off until you cannot hear it. Set the the "Bass Boost" at 0 and crossover frequency at 80 hz (play around with the tuning to find out what sounds best to your ears.) Good luck

Yeah i think we're thinking of the same idea, i figured i could sand the piss out of the upper half of the MDF ring dramatically so when i mount the 6.5s they would be aiming up.. sound about right?

thanks! yeah, the speakers are great. When i have them on full tilt it feels like a dogs tail slightly tapping on my leg and the tweeters are amazing.

thanks haha I will replace the cardboard, when i get around to it.. i'm in no hurry. I tried thinkin' of ways to aim the 6.5s upward but.. the way i made the doors there wasn't a way to aim them up. Well there was a way, but i didn't think of it till now haha. I like the way the door look though, the stock clean look. I get a lot of compliments on them. I haven't been to a car show yet with the new doors, but next weekend there is one.

Yes i doooo! haha i was rushin to get everything in, i think there is one screw in my whole head unit area I'm going to be working on the tweeter fabrication this week, i'm free until next Thursday so that will give me lots of time. It should only take a few hours to cut and suede them. i also need an idea of an amp "box" because the amp is sitting under the jumper seat.. so it wouldn't get kicked by all the dumb ass people that don't know what an amp is and think its a welcome mat.. SO it'll be a box with some fans. Oh and the voltage is golden! :D
