  3. That workshop looks packed Matt2 !
  4. Damnit, we were slow to get the peppers planted this year
  5. C++ actually
  6. Congrats on the work. The vinyl work turned out niiiiice
  7. As far as processing goes, the main advantage of the 9887 is the ability to high-pass the front channel as low as you want. Good for running a full-range + midbass in the front. The 880 on the other hand has separate L/R Eq which can come in handy. Both have independent L/R xovers. For full control over the Ipod with the 9887 you need a pretty cheap cable. Not sure what the 880 needs for ipod control.
  8. Yes, it was posted here before. One thing I'm always reminded of by this install is that the line between hobby and mental illness is very thin...
  9. For what length can it only support 300A ? Look at a 300A anl fuse, it's a very tiny conductor surface.
  10. Spammers in the IHOP ?
  11. Two please So I can use them as a ramp when I need to work under the Jeep.
  12. Interesting stuff with the side panels Jacob. I'm also curious to see the bandpass setup. Always wondered about a 4th order in the jeep, simulations show a good increase in efficiency.
  13. I usually go for port area equal to 1/3 of the cone area with a box that plays music and adjust from there based on what the software has to say about vent velocity.
  14. leik fer realz, bad grammer is teh sux
  15. Locked djteks, you can pm me and I will open it so you can post the pics.
  16. Sounds too good to be true. We'll just have to wait for pics.
  17. I don't hate, ask anyone here. I simply call it as I see it, and what I see is you lying. You have ZERO proof and astonishing claims of 10db gains with out any real work, and 150's with no real equipment. The equipment is capable of 150dB, it needs serious work though. Such numbers don't need tons of power and tons of cone area. It is, but at a higher frequency then his box is tuned to. And Tons and TONS of vehicle work. Not just "turning it up" and it magically happening. Fart box, yes indeed. Car work, it's going to depend on the car. My jeep for instance sucks because of the roof.

  19. You mean add some port to lower tuning...
  20. Search for Thorshammer's posts. IIRC he has a GP and does 150's with a pair of 10's. At around 42-44hz. You can pick up some good box placement ideas from his posts. And super small can go take a hike
  21. By hand is the best way. Get everything thought up in your head and it's a breeze to do the cutlist by hand. Plus bass box has some weird idea about how the boards should fit together.
  22. Your dumb DD = Loudest on meter Wouldn't count on that
  23. Wasn't actually that much work but I had to focus on school and couldn't work for big periods of time
  24. It lives ! Finally done with the electrical system on the backhoe. It starts, tacho works, sensors work, I will probably ditch an auxiliary system which never worked
  25. Good idea with the tube foam. Apart from a mold, I see no other good way to build a flare. Might just have to try this method for 10 inch tube
