  1. I'd hate to ride in a 350z with that much weight in it. That rear suspension just wasn't made for shit like that. Just Saying
  2. Welcome to SSA
  3. Yes Sir Sean, me too !!! You don't know how bad I want an 8 or 10" driver in the dash of my F150.
  4. Just about any sub bass driver can be installed in the front given adequate space for enclosure build. I've seen at least 2 vehicles with a 12" driver installed in the dash. A Ford Mustang, a Dodge Caravan (I Think). If you count center console front firing drivers you can add a Toyota Tundra and a Dodge Ram to that list running 8" drivers.
  5. What type of vehicle do you have ??? How is your sub bass enclosure built / mounted ??? My Kenwood 9980 has a time align setting for the sub stage similar to the front stage. Does your head unit have anything like that ???
  6. Google "crazy 8s" audio competition.
  7. I'm mainly a Sound Quality competitor, but I have made my rounds in the sound pressure lanes !!! I've learned that motor structure is more important (to handle brute amplifier power) than cone area to produce awesome numbers on a meter. Well, along with expert enclosure build and vehicle modification ... So with that being said, these drivers should do really well in the SPL lanes ...
  8. Welcome to SSA. Those look like bad ass drivers !!!
  9. Happy birthday
  10. You have a loose ground somewhere barely making contact.
  11. Must be a major setup from my DNX9980HD. Need to check one of these out for my F150. Nice Ride !!! I'm tuned in !!!
  12. Gotcha. I read that about the kicks. My bad. But yeah, You knew what I meant anyways. Carry on brother
  13. Nice Amplifiers. One on a pair of SSA tweeters flush mounted in the dash and one on a pair of SSA 6.5s in the doors would make for a bad ass setup !!! Just Saying
  14. What, are you new ??? Pics homie !!!
  15. Wish I had something to put this set (6.5 & tweet) in for personal enjoyment. I have a birthday coming up .........
  16. That is a sweet ride for sure !!! I'm tuned in on yours brother !!!
  17. Did you buy your head unit new or used ??? Go on the Pioneer's website and download the unit's manual. They normally explain most of their features in detail.
  18. Fuck Sean, I said that this could be a last resort suggestion if he couldn't figure the head unit out. Don't get so uptight, I'm just trying to help. Op I will call Josh and see if you two can get in contact (since he competes with his) and see if he can give you good information. If you still need assistance after working with Sean.
  19. You might have to run your channels full range at the head unit and cross over at the amplifier (s). Josh caught hell setting his head unit, which is why he added the DSP. Looking at you amplifiers, it might be a possibility to tune easier. Run your EQ flat and only T/A at the head unit. Just a suggestion.
  20. Wish I knew more about that particular Pioneer product. I run a Kenwood head unit. I know of one person on our team that runs that unit, but I think he has a Helix DSP along with it. Can't remember.
