which sub?
lol really? lol really. And xcons aren't the only thing I'd look for, just not dc subs. lol i suggested IA before anything... what a tool. I never said anything about incriminator, just simply stating that I personally wouldn't go with dc for the above posted reasons. Yeah I guess I'm a tool?

Kevin S
There has been a lot of shit in general lately, and a bunch of it concerning this. Kevin's either going to get his shit together and continue to be apart of the SSA community and if he doesn't, he won't be here anymore. Mark and Aaron aren't going to let anyone down

Buying a used Sub
Push cone up and down and try and feel/hear any coil rub. Look between the basket and venting at the coil and make sure it's not burnt, melted, discoloration black. All that I can think of.

Battery or HO alt?
x2, 4gauge wire isn't sufficient. Do you have a budget? Can you afford an h/o alt? Is adding 30-50lbs of battery weight in the rear a concern?

Daily Driver Lumina
I new they were pretty beefy, but you just don't know till you get one in your hands. Yep, I just imagine an sa12 on a 8" basket. Sa12s were pretty beefy and stiff suspension

Sweet, something about sa8s I just love.

Does this mean you can start making cases pretty soon? I need to ship back a xp series alt and get a new case for a volvo v40 1.9L I4. Or can I ship the alt back now and have you guys swap it out once a case is made? Stefan

Welcome to the IHoP
Is it personal? I may be a young gun in the car audio world and i obviously look up to him. He has turned into what started as a hobby into something much bigger. That is like a dream for most of us enthusiast isnt it? i mean why not make money off from something you absolutely love. Why do you care what I think? You are old enough to make your own opinions and don't like mine anyways. No daddy, I didn't mean it like that!

Shop Owners/Employees, what's up?!
Last box I had built I decided to have it built locally since shipping would rape me. Told the guy I wanted 45s in the corners, double baffle, dowel bracing, and binding posts not a plastic terminal cup. He said he had something better then those terminals and blah blah blah. I come back a few days later, no 45s in the corners, no dowel bracing, and a big fucking plastic terminal cup screwed in with silicone all over. You could tell he didn't even predrill for when he screwed the terminal in, wood was splitting. After a couple weeks of playing, rear panel on box started to flex inward and outward. Total shit. He was mecp certified. Oh and I gave him a demo the next day, he said "damn this has to be at least 150db." I was like nah more like low 140s. Went to a show a month later, did a 143 lol.
