my roof, it moves up and down, and I don't know why
My roof has no headliner, nothing to hide the cld tiles, although it flexes, it makes no sound annoyance. But I agree covering it with cld tiles and damplifier would probably give it some rigidity but I'm not sure how well they would stick to plastic.

15" Q-Enclosure Question
Is your front stage active? Are you using any equalizers or time alignment functions? Is your vehicle sound deadened to the best degree? These are just a few things that go into a true SQ vehicle. (i honestly don't know more as I've never made it my goal) The BL or btl for that matter get loud, but just because they get loud doesn't mean they sound bad. Now put'm in a fart box and they'll be for spl only... The Q is an audiophiles dream come true.

15" Q-Enclosure Question
Curious, why did you buy a Q when your goals are loudest setup? Either way, very nice driver.

15 inch Xcon as HT sub
I believe an xcon in a HT setup would perform very well, but I would tune lower if it was me, say 15-20hz

Welcome to the IHoP
Damn, sorry Jaime. I had a grill stolen from my porch a couple months ago and I've been almost waiting for my door to be open someday when I come home after somebody broke in. It's not a good feeling. I know the feeling, it sucks. Had someone break into one of our cars a couple months back. Kept thinking they'd come back for one of other cars... Couple weeks back there was a car parked in front of my house in the middle of the night, I went out to see what was up and they sped off...

sa-8 enclosure
One thing that's cool is the one box makes an 8" sound like a 10" Why don't you get Andrew from Argent Audio to build you a box? He'll make an optimal enclosure designed for the driver, not the other way around. Just my two cents!

curved when i was trying to cut....
firstly man, calm down no need to get mad at everyone, be a little more specific. Posting a picture is going to be your best bet to get a valid answer. Depending on how much you cut out, you can sand it out and you'll be good, but if it's past the point where the seal between the surround and wood is open then your kinda screwed. You could always double baffle the enclosure if it isn't already, and that would solve your problem! Good luck Thought you messed up the cutout for the driver, not the side... my bad. But I would still suggest Posting a picture!!!! but it does sound your going to have to redo that side / box depending on if everything's glued already.

FI AUDIO baby!'s Official Question Thread
You are dumb. Period end of story. Your not competing in any drive by event, you simply want people to know your shit is loud and impress them. Well no one cares. You should just mount your driver on the outside of your vehicle and then it'll be louder OUTSIDE then INSIDE. noob.

It's been a while since I've been around these parts...
x2. Check your ssf and gain on your amplifier.

T2 12 vs AA Havo ??????
yes! Posting this in the Ascendant Audio section is going to have biased opinions, not to mention you aren't exactly specifying your goals. You want the "better" one? a Ferrari may be fast but it can't off-road worth shit, catch my drift? I know if the choice was mine, I'd pick AA. Why? nothing against rf but AA makes great products and I'd rather have something not every joe schmo has... So here's a vague answer to a vague question, perhaps now you'll ask a more specific question.

2 12" Fi Q enclosure
There's plenty of amps that are 1ohm stable, thus allowing you to run one amp to power both drivers at 1ohm. I don't remember the rms rating on the Qs off the top of my head but sundown audio has a sax1200d, or the older saz1000d, saz1500d. Check out the SSA store, they carry quality amps that will work for you, if money is an issue you can always check out the for sale section. I'd rather buy a quality used amp then a brand new cheap amp I'm getting the 2ohm versions of the Subs, I didn't think you could run two 2 ohm subs at one ohm? Well I didn't know that, you can either wire both subs parallel for 0.5ohm or parallel/series for 2ohms. OR you could wire each sub separately to it's own amp to 1ohm and match settings with a dmm. I don't suggest wiring to 0.5ohms... Wiring to 2ohms would be easiest i suppose and just find an amp that makes the amount of power you want at 2ohms.

Anyway to fix this...
you could probably put some silicone or super glue over it, just don't put a lot on, you want it to be flush
