  1. Thanks for the info, I've heard so much conflicting info out there, it seems like a lot of 'user-error' in regards to installation. IMO, they do seem like a solid fit.
  2. Yes, very true! I am curious to have seen/heard how they sounded and the power/enclosure details.
  3. Did you run any of their Konfused fuse holders or distribution blocks? I am trying to find anyone who has ran their compression fittings....and to see their reviews. I do also like their wire.
  4. Wow... a LI on 900 watts! BTW, do the LI and Flatlynes have the same bolt mounting pattern? I am thinking of running a LI 12" in my Flatlyne's old sealed enclosure (1.34cu/ft) for a future home theater setup. The sub rack amp will put out 950rms in 4ohm. I debated on running a Flatlyne as well, your post got me to thinking......
  5. Wow, IA FTW! That is a lot of places! BTW, I didn't know that Flatlynes were available in 18's
  6. Exceptional build quality!
  7. I have my 1 12" in 1.2ft^3 after displacement in a sealed enclosure. I have it powered on a Sundown SAZ-1000 @ 2ohm for 600watts. It sounds amazing and musical for any type of music that I throw at it...Jazz- to death metal. Jazz, the upright bass tones are very smooth and never overpowering....Death-metal or rock...the double bass is ultra responsive and powerful yet...I hear a clear distinction between lower bass guitar notes and the drums. Rap or Trance...the output is amazing yet all of the lower tones are clear and distinct. The bass always blends in well with my front stage that is powered by a Sax 125.2 I have also debated ion getting another one going with a ported enclosure as well, but I currently trying to get an idea overall enclosure size. I have a 98 Honda Civic Coupe and the trunk space is also fairly limited.
  8. Nice clean Blazer! Are those Corvette Rally's? Did you got with a 350?
  9. Accounting demand is high, as our office is looking to hire a couple actually. I would say go with a major that has a Math background. I like Wyotech and I considered SAM but I went for more technical and business...but I ended up developing training/edcucation software and programs for the deisel industry, and teaching at a community college for 4 years before this.....so I combined strong technical aspects, business, and even education curriculum in my education plan. Be an asset, try to be different from every other applicant out there, but be sensible and marketable about it...for instance...as I was laid-off a few months ago, but I was hired in 3 weeks, and made more money even in these times...because there is not a lot of people that can do what I do....so experience matters....but it is even greater to match it with a quality education too....in something that you can accel at.
  10. Are you running that amp in a 2ohm or 4 ohm load? Are you needing RCA's and everything included? I would probably get a larger guage wiring kit, especially if you are also running an amp for the high's.
  11. thanks again for your help with my enclosure!
  12. Pretty high compared to what? You can certainly pay less and get a battery that is close to the same size as an XS Power battery, but it will not provide the same performance. ^^^^ Truth, Ive got a buddy with some knock offs that are the same size as my 3100s, and with 2 on 2 1500s he still drops down in the low 12s vs me not dropping below 14 same box same amps different battery"s.
  13. love the new site!
  14. Great videos, and an excellent choice in cruising song! I like the functionality and versatility of the truck and system build. The sound is good, what power and what do you have those Blues 10's tuned to? Do you gain a better sound using kick-panels vs the components (sealed and deadened of course) in the doors? Are your components active?
  15. It seems like those other high power capacitors are really high for the price....like the cost of another XS power battery.
  16. tuned in! Can't wait to see what's in store....
  17. You can try Strapping 2 Sundown SAZ-1000Ds at 1830 RMS @ 2ohm. They are still $279 a piece on Wooferetc. A 2 ohm load would not be such a strain on the electrical and each SAZ 1000 is about 11" long. well now that you mention that... i am currently running an AQ1200D, i could buy another for 250 shipped and strap it at 2 ohms for 2400 watts, thats probably the cheapest way i can get more power at this point. Sounds good, especially if you already have one now...I am not sure on the watts @ a 2ohm strap...but physical size deminsions look good. The 3500 sounds good too, but looks like you would really have upgrade the electrical, which would be needed anyways either way at this level

  19. Happy B-day!

  21. WOw. it just dwarfs that 20.1!
  22. Been there, done that... it turned into a lexan drag car. low 12s all motor Sweet! B-series 1.6L or 1.8? JDM b18c. gsr tranny w/welded diff. 13.5:1 compression, full race head, top fuel cams, only ran on 116 race gas. nice!

  24. Then Get the Kinetic 1400R, same site, since you already have the 600 and run it in the back. I actually thought about doing the exact same, but I am only running 850 RMS total with my current set-up in my Civic. Kinetic says that the 1400R will support up to 1400 Watts.
