Nothing much changing, but I did just order a Ampere 125.4 to replace the Crescendo 1100.4. here is a new video though
  2. I also run JuiceBox 31's in the back. If anyone is looking for a extra battery for the rear you cant go wrong with the Juicebox's at 230.00 shipped

You have plenty of room under that seat for a sub but will require some knowledge and building skills
  4. Get the blue marine if your getting Platinums. They come with the extra stud mounts on top making adding accessories and extra power wire easy. They only sell the g34's and g31's in the blue marine series.
  5. I prefer the Die Hards over the Optimas. But for 140 bucks you will be saving money.
  6. I ran two red tops under the hood of my other truck with XS in the rear and worked great
  7. Red only because yellow under the hood looks gay!
  8. Have your installer do multiple runs of speaker wire while he's in there that way going active will be easy.
  9. You need pics with your name, date and price beside it or this is useless
  10. Congrats on your first meet. It will only become addictive now and you will always be thinking how you can be louder. lol
  11. Hell yeah, That shit was doing small hairtricks with both doors open, one 15...wtf . I was blown away at that, lmao!!! Tell her congrats, I didnt see yall after or I would have. It was a LONG day
  12. Thanks guys, really happy with gaining 1.4db from the last event. I have a few more ideas to increase it more but hopefully I can still pull off a top 3 at Worlds. Cant wait to see how the Tridents do
  13. Had a great day yesterday at the Meca TN State finals yesterday. Me and Senchez both won our class. I came home with.. 1st place Mod 3 TN state final New TN state record 155.4 @ 33hz at the headrest on 190 amps of fusing Highest SPL score of the day SPL Best of show (combined highest scores) 3rd place DB 5 (130.4) 6ft away Phat truck award Sencheezy took home the Mod 4 state title Thanks to DSS and Ampere Audio for the support and amazing products, I'm looking forward to World Finals and I see big things coming next year....
  14. Thats awesome! Those B2 subs look HUGE and heavy as FK

Might as well add another 75ft of 2/0. It wont hurt thats for sure
  16. The ratings seem to be spot on. I have a true clamped 8k going to 4 and its perfect. They dont get warm unless I push the amp into clipping
  17. Those will be some badass 10's!!
  18. Go around and check out other peoples setups and get demos. You will be surprised when you sit in some lower db vehicles that sound louder to the ear than the big number rides. You will get beat by some people with not much cone area at all. I've seen people with two 12's meter higher than me but their main goal is a number. Thats why the main thing is to have fun and focus on the sound above hitting a certain number, if you get caught up trying be a top runner in a class you will stay frustrated if you have a daily setup.
  19. Oh then I would do 5 net maybe 5.5 with around the same port area tuned 32-34hz. But there may be better opinions out there.
  20. Try it with the same enclosure first. If it doesnt like it I would go down to 5cu net. Too bad tuning is already high or I would just say add large 45's inside to lower volume but it will raise tuning in return.

Everything is back up and running. Here is a full walk through with my country ass talking but whatever. lol These damn things just sounds so good its amazing. Just love the sound going on right now. Its loud as fk too. The single Ampere 7500 seems to be meant for them.
  22. Myth #1. Subwoofer size has ABSOLUTLY no effect on "speed." A 15" sub will play the same as a 10" or 12" even 18". An improperly designed enclosure is to blame for double bass drums muddling together. Having said that, if you have space restrictions, a 12" would probably be a safer bet. Have you measured what fits? Or at least what space you're willing to give up? On a properly designed transducer this is correct. But take a motor designed for a 12 and throw a 18 inch moving mass coupled with it's air load and you have transient issues. There is a reason why the motor on a JL w7 8 is smaller than the motor on a JL w7 13. The Ethos motor was designed for a 15 and the enclosures I recommend ensure proper response. This is why every single customer that has bought an Ethos regardless the size says its one of the best sounding subwoofer they have ever owned. Cant argue there! Mine sounds sooo clean and loud as hell!
