That box would be just fine for the 10". What amp are you running with it?

I had 4 6" PVC tubes with my 18"s. Yes one was badly tarnished from the sun (no tinted windows).

I'm using 4 of their 6.5 on a sundown 125.2, and they sound awesome.

I had my 2 RL-p 18"s in a 14cube wall after all displacement with an Infinity 1300 on each one in my blazer.

That amp will be plenty for that sub.

Well just for chits & giggles what would it be to 32771 (FL)?

All glass is going to do is crack/break/shatter under the preasures of the sub moving. Not to mention the heat created. If you don't wat to recone it, then I would think about just running 1 sub till you get a new setup. P.S. i'll take it off your hands.

I'm sure you meant it to inform/help me, but this is not my first build. I'm also very aware of what it takes to make an SS loud, lol. I didn't think it was necessary but here are the specs. 6.2 cubes after all subs, slot port, and bracing displacement. Tuned to 34Hz. Pushed by a Sundown 3000 @ 2 or .5ohms.

OK I'm finally going to begin my build next week sometime. The box will be a center console going from the dash to the back seat with 4 12" RL-p's facing up. My question is should I have the port firing forward towards the dash? Or firing back under the rear seat? This setup is going in an '05 Chevy crew cab. Thx for any help.

What's the best way to figure out the displacement for each one of these? They will be about 15.75" long & 1.5" in diameter. I used them on the last build I did for the blazer, and they held strong, and were easy to use. So I'm thinking of using them again with my next one. Thx for the help.

The box size is 4.4net after all displacement. So by shortening the shape in one direction, but adding it in the other and not altering the Leigh still changed the tuning?

I'm trying to figure out my next box. The program I'm using is tells me that my port will be 5Tx10Wx17.5D. Now how much of an effect will it have if I was to change the opening to 3.5Tx11.5Wx17.5D?? I'm looking to tune it to 34Hz. Thx from the help.

I really like this idea. Myself, i have never owned anything SSA (nothing personal, lol), but something like this would accually encurage me to buy from you. I have a bad habit of changing things frequintly, and it's a hassel haveing to deal with selling my old stuff. Something like this lets me knpw that I can "upgrade" alot easier. This idea is one of the reasons I finally purchased from Sundown.

Ok I did some measuring and if I cut the rear seat (make it 2 buckets out of the 60/40 bench seat), I would have enough to give them 1.55 each after displacement. What are your thoughts on that?

OK, I just checked, and they are both double slugs.

This is a pic of the last box I built for 2 DD 2510. I moved the rear seat forward 3" to get 3 cubes gross behind the seat. I am going to be building the new box shortly once I figure out what I'm going to do. I'll be putting the seat back to the original location since the new box will be a center console type of box.

I wish, but funds wont allow for that, lol.
