It's gonna be hard to desulfate it without that function You could always sell it off at a minimal loss it the battery doesn't come back, or sell your current charger and recoup some funds if you find you like the ctek more.

A nice charger is cheaper than a new battery and even if it doesn't work, you'll have a nice new charger and will be able to bring back some sulfated batteries in the future. The Ctek chargers start at >$50 and are highly recommended by Kinetic's technicians (they use Ctek chargers themselves).

That enclosure design looks nice. It looks like the shop will be done soon.

More times than not, BNIB equipment for sale on the forums will be opened, just not used. If you don't want open box items, ask the seller if the item is factory sealed.

Didn't you see pictures of the amp before you paid for it?

Sounds like a bnib amp to me. Most people online are weary of buying equipment without a picture of the actual item being sold.

I don't think you'll find a Sundown amp that has not been tested. Does it look like it has been hooked up?
