bwahahahaha Definitely tighter than he and his brother's backdoors. I hear lots of nasty, queer shit about those fellas who go greek.
  3. Bummer about the accident. Congratulations on the win though!
  4. This is probably not a very good idea.
  5. Looks good, how are you liking those 1510s?
  6. Isn't that what it's for?

I read an article a few years ago about the Duke, it seemed like a good time no doubt.
  8. Thats what I was thinking. Sorry. Extended through Cyber Monday? Very cool, too bad I don't get paid until Taco Tuesday. You can always buy with an echeck, takes a week to clear anyways. I did not think of that. You are my hero.

At least you are going to get great traction in the snow! Have to love Michigan winters. Yeah i guess. Not like last winter in my Evo, that was amazing. I bet that was fun. I love playing in the snow.
  10. Me too, I would rather order from SSA than the drive thru at Taco Bell though.
  11. Well that should save you a bundle. Are you keeping in mind that you're probably going to need 2-3 good batteries and possibly a ho alternator to have enough juice to maintain good voltage? Will you be using another amplifier for your mids/highs? Also, by "For the bass alone, I'd like to not exceed $1000 I guess" did you mean subs and amp only?
  12. Extended through Cyber Monday? Very cool, too bad I don't get paid until Taco Tuesday.
  13. Are you planning on building the enclosure and doing the install yourself?
  14. An actual budget or at least roundabout figure would really help us to help you. Does your vehicle have any eletrical upgrades at all right now?
  15. Pretty clean under there
  16. You probably won't experience a large increase in output simply because the suspension softens up a tad. A 6.5" mid can only do so much.
  17. Sorry, I misread somehow and was thinking he had three 10s. Four 8s would be a slight cone area advantage over a pair of 10s. He'll likely just cry and moan that it took you 2 more drivers to win. How's the budget for this build? Also, are you only doing this to show up some guy?
  18. My thoughts exactly.
  19. I wouldn't do it. I doubt the HU is meant to run anything below 4 ohms.
  20. It might be pretty tough to beat his score. He will probably have more power and he's in an suv whereas you have to defeat the almighty trunk. I'm not saying it isn't possible but you may have a hard time doing it. I'm sure you're up to the task though. Are you dead set on the SA8s?
  21. 1st things 1st, to SSA! Now, onto your query. Are you talking about just putting the subs in the bed and having a tonneau cover over them? If so, I would recommend the blowthrough. Why are you wanting to run an 18volt setup? Will this be a competition vehicle? In order to run the amount of power you are interested in, you will be needing some electrical upgrades. That amount of power is really unnecessary too, unless you are wanting to compete seriously. What are your true goals for this system? How big is the budget? Will you be doing all/most of the work yourself or will you be paying a shop to do the work? A stereo system of the magnitude you're describing will definitely be several thousand dollars (not implying that you can't afford it or anything). Share a little more info about what you want out of this thing and maybe we can get some ideas going.
