Very nice, they really don't need much power at all to get nasty. I'm impressed with mine too. D1s wired in series on the 3500D and they are getting down and flexing the Bronco pretty damn well for low power.

A high efficiency pa mid simply does not need that 160w.
They didn't look as effective as I'd hoped.

I also use the 10 amp setting when trying to get a good charge fairly quickly.
Chips won't affect anything, you're going to love that big bastard.

There are some 4 ohm pa mids, the powerbass 4xl is one, I use them in my vehicle right now.
I use a big Schumacher and it goes over 15v. So far, I have not had any problem charging Shuriken batteries, I have no experience with Deka though. I always use a low amperage on any battery unless I'm trying to get a vehicle started. Here's a quick pic of mine
