  1. Nice ride.
  2. Last power bastards alt I saw didn't work any better than a stocker, actually, it got replaced by the stock alt right before he went into the lanes because it wouldn't charge properly.
  3. All 3 should be quite easy on any domestic pickup.
  4. Are you looking for coaxials or a component set? I would just buy something nice for a front stage and leave the rears out. You should have no trouble finding a great set with that budget. You could buy a nice amp and speakers with that budget (or even less).
  5. It's cheap n easy, I say do it in 1/0, it only takes a few feet. You won't have to worry about it later if you decide to upgrade down the road.
  6. I agree, you should upgrade big 3 and swap out the stock battery for a yellow top if you can get them new for 120, see how your voltage does after that and then add more if you have to.
  7. They are all good quality
  8. Ahh, I'd say that's a pretty good score then. Why aren't you happy?
  9. If you want to run Shuriken, I'll bet you can fit a BT80 under there, maybe even a BT100 (this is what I run). Get some real world measurements on how much space you have. You might be able to get by with one good underhood battery and not have to wire up a 2nd.
  10. I'm not sure what your battery box and such looks like, do you have any extra room for a larger battery underhood?
  11. Whatcha got for a battery under the hood?
  12. looks nice, keep it up
  13. I'm guessing you're thinking about the BT20? That's only 20 ah, it might help a wee bit but won't add a whole lot of power.
  14. Looks good n loud, nice work.
  15. Shouldn't be too hard to get in there, they recommend 5-8 cubes, I'd build an enclosure on the small side. 5-5.5 after sub/brace displacements and port since you are going to be running well over rms. What kind of electrical will you have to back that 3kwp @.5ohm?

I had a bottle of the kickin' chicken at Kicker Bash. Austin Nichols 101 FTW
  17. I did not know that, thanks Aaron.
  18. I've built several O'reilly's auto parts stores in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana but don't know shit about their batts.
  19. I would go with 2 Deka 9a31s.
  20. Nice. Keep up the good work.
  21. Hey. at least you got 1st place. My little brother got 2nd place at his first show a few weeks ago. He posted a 136.4 with 2 RE SRx 12s sharing 3 cubes tuned to 35hz on a hifonics bxi1606d @4ohm(rated 550wrms) with the car off and a stock battery. I'm sure you can do much better with those icons, do you have your enclosure specs? This is meca style at the headrest btw.
  22. I must need to get with the times, I'd want a cd.
  23. Sounds like a winner.
