ive seen them but havent seen or heard them in person. look pretty nice though. i ordered my PSI custom recones for my MOJO M3 motors so once i get them im gonna put them in and see how i like them compared to the MOJO CMs

wire coming in tomorrow and batts on tues so wont be able to get them in til next weekend most likely.

also going to be getting 2 15" psi custom recones rated 1800w for some older Memphis MOJO M3 motors. gonna try them out and compare and see what i like better.

so some interesting information on this topic. after talking with DC power they told me to take the blue sensing wire coming out of the alt, cut it, put a ring terminal on it, and wire it to the alts hot post. apparently the vehicles sensing wire in some import vehicles is too small and the alt doesnt get the full signal and causes higher voltage and jumping and spiking. so last night i did this and now my voltage is 15.1 at cold start and dropping to normal.

well figured i might as well post a build log on what ive been putting together. just a few pics to get started post some later of the box and what not. 2 15" Memphis CM MOJOs(have) or 2 15" PSI custom reconed MOJO M3s(ordered) Sundown SAZ-3500D v.2(have) DC Power 270XP(have) 1 XS Power D5100R(have) 2 XS Power XP3000(ordered) 2 runs weldingsupply 2/0AWG (have) enclosure designed by PWK(built) update: box and subs are in running off the saz-3500v2 @ 4ohm til i get batts and wire. keeping Memphis MClass mids/highs will upgrade in the near future

well psi got back to me so im gonna get 1800w recones from them.

i know the amount my truck flexes in the winter up here(-40 though 20) is severely less and it does seem a little quieter.

well i sent PSI a request telling them what i had a few days ago but no response yet. either way i have these motors and id like to do something with them besides use them as a paper weight lol.

been looking for specs and sizes on these coils and i found the ID OD for the ns v1. cant seem to find much on the mojo. havent thought of any box designs for it yet, it would be nice if i could do a direct swap from the box im building for my CM MOJOs which is 3 cubes per sub @ 32hz and 93" of port area. dont have any calipers but the vc gap on the mojo motors is about 3/8" and its 4 1/4" deep from the top of the pole piece(3 3/4" from the front plate). sundown Z v2 ID 2.97 OD 3.25 i found.

yeah i saw a tutorial on caco of someone redrilling a basket to fit on the newer CM MOJOs. if i can fit an 8 layer coil in the gap i would like to try either some NS or Z parts from sundown or some ZCON parts from ssa if it wont fit an 8 layer then maybe XCON parts if the vc is the right length. really hard to find dimensions and specs from the old mojos though.

well i cant find any of the original parts to recone or a new cartridge like memphis uses, and although i am talking to psi about a recone but i would like to use some ssa or sundown parts if possible. how wide is the coil on a nightshade v1?

Im wanting to build a hybrid woofer but have never tried this before. i have two 3 bolt Memphis MOJO motors and i want to know if i can recone them with either some 15" SSA or Sundown recone parts and run on an SAZ-3500. What do i need to know about these motors before to know what parts i can use and what parts should i use? I know the motors have 2 magnet slugs that are iirc 1" x 8.5" and the oem voice coil is a 4 layer 3" coil. can or should i use an 8 layer coil and can i use the same basket as the soft parts im using use and redrill it to fit the three bolt style?

So i got my 3500 v2 and hooked it up (post pics in just a min) im planning in running it on my SA-8 v2s for now @ 4ohm until i get my 0ga and mojos in. it should be be fine cause its not pulling more current than 4ga can handle right? also i ran it at 1 ohm for a moment and carefully increased the volume and i realize its not any louder than my saz-1000d was and watching my voltage im not getting any drop at all at idle. could there be something wrong with why its not pulling any more current than my saz-1000d was assuming it should be pulling way more? just confused at why.

What electrical are you running right now?

Been trying to find the cartridges Memphis sells for them but theyve been discontinued. Also i want to recone to 15s.

So i have 2 of the old orange basket mojo motors and im trying to find a place i can get some three bolt style baskets to fit them and recones to rebuild them and run about 1750w a piece on them. Any ideas where i could find some parts?
