That's a prety big difference in power there I would say it would get quite a bit louder but only when the instal is finish will you know. Great choice of sub and amp btw

i think the no flare=no loud rumour is a port is a port. aeroports do however reduce port noise greatly. personaly i would go and get aeros for low port noise, but just strait pvc works great. there realy isnt much of a diference between aeros and pvc but port noise.

It's blown. You can get a recon off fi's sit an I would recomend sending it in. With an aq 2200d wou where probably cliping the hell out of that sub

yeah they are. ive seen what i have used for up to 8 grand but also as low as $700, it just depends of the quality you want.

i have a 2000 subaru outback. plenty of room and has good gas milage the only thing about it i dont like is does not have very good stock electrical. may be a good option for you if you have the money to upgrade its electrical

Nope. its not running hot or cutting out. And that thing pounds like hell. I didnt think it would be a big problem because its brand new but I am watching it, and looking for some input from the forms.. Then I don't think you should wory about it. It's probably a stray current going through it, that's what I think no real problems there
