it all depends on your goal, budget etc.... Goal get a sub in my car again and use the amp I have now. I want it to get loud and sound good in a sealed box. It's a daily drive no comp just for me.

Thanks for the replys. I was thinking it would not be because it says 1250 rms. I have to make a choice. Wait for GCON or go with ICON?

I would like to know if it would be a waste to get an ICON and run it in a sealed box with only 800wrms ?

Just looked at the sundown 8v2 with PSI passive radiator video and thats looks like an option or still go with a 10 with a PSI passive radiator.

Well its just a daily driver but I need to keep some room in the back. I was hoping I could get close to the 2 10s output I had in my old car rsd 10s in a sealed .5 each off the 600.1. (I know I don't have the cone area with 1) I want something that can get loud and sound good at the same time. Its just for my pleasure. I just miss have some bass in my car. How much do I want to spend not sure willing to spend what it takes to get one good sub that will work with my amp don't want to get a new one I like it.

I got a new car last year and was not going to put a sub in this car because I don't want to loose the room but I can't take it anymore so it time to find the right sub. I have a Phoenix Gold Xenon 600.1 to run what ever sub I get. so I have 600-800 wrms to give it. I want to run 1 10" sub sealed in a small box say .5- to may be 1 foot. I have had PG subs in the past and liked them a lot. I tried a RE SE12 a few years back RPLI12 and 8s. I had the 12 ported and they did get low but for some reason I like 10s better so I ened up with 2 PG rsd 10s in my last car. I listen to all kinds of music. So I see SSA has a new sub coming out soon so I was thinking about the GCON a Sundown SA10 or the PG Ti2 10. I would like some thoughts on the 3 with the amp I have. It might be hard to give me an idea about the GCON but I could use some help picking the sub for my car. So ya know the car is a 2011 Scion tC. Thansk for any help. MJ

denim maybe you should try typing every other word in bold or every other letter just to screw with them. Marry maybe you need to add a 2nd weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Just a couple ideas to keep getting under their skin, it was a good read and I did laught a couple of times. Can you please let us know what size sealed box the Havoc 12 and 15 need if they can even run in sealed. Thanks, Mike J

If I could find a used mag that would be my 1st choice. Think about the Havoc if waiting for some box specs. MJ

I wish I never sold my Phoenix Gold ZX450, ZX250 and a pair of Xmax 10s I had I liked them alot. Future mistake maybe. I have an Eclipse SW8200 BNIB that I keep thinking about selling but I keep stopping my self.

I was looking at FI but I am not sure you can run the BL or BTL sealed I only saw the specs for ported. If you can run them sealed I would have to give it a try. Also thinking about a Mag if I can fine one use at the same time I have the money for one.I would have to take it easy on the gains. By the way thanks for the fast shipment on the 1500d could not belive how fast I got it.

I need some help I just bought a 1500d and would like to run it at 1ohm but I only want 1 sub. 1 12 or 15 that I can run sealed that can take 1500wrms. I still want a good sounding sub. I know about the TC 3000 but would like some other choices please. Dont want to spend more then 350. Thanks for your help. Mike J. Thinking about a Icon 15 but dont want to blow it.

I am going to run it sealed 2.5cu ft. as long as its enough to give me a little back rub on the way home from work and it has good SQ I will be happy. If I am easy on the gain do you think I will be fine with the 1500d ? MJ

How would you compare it to the RLp 12 I know you have use 1 in the past. 2nd with only 800wrms which way would you go 1-12 sealed or maybe 1 10 ported. I do like the sound of sealed. But I trust what you have to say I have not been around in a while but I have taken your advice in the past. Thanks MJ I have not tested the ICON against my RL-p. I love both subs, but they are somewhat different in design, I do have a triple stack RL-p, but after that they really don't share much in common. With 800watts, that is plenty for both sealed or ported. After some testing and box adjustment for sealed design, I really like the ICON 12 in a .9 to 1.1 cube box. The pair of 10's ported would be a good mix of output and SQ when space is an issue. They are some of the beefiest 10's out now. Is 800wrms total enough for 2 10s ? I like my amp and until it pops I dont want to buy a new one.

I would like to see a ICON review please I have 2 10s in my car right know but I am thinking about trying something new and these look nice. The thing is I need to know how they preform sealed. I like the sound of a sealed sub. I am thinking of 1-12 or 2 10s not sure if I can come up with the money for 2 10s. I do have 800wrms to give what ever I go with. I want it to be musical but want it to get loud when I ask it to. Right know I have 2 Phoenix gold RSd 10s sealed and they sound nice to me. I have had RLi 8s sealed, Rlp 12 ported and a RE SE12 ported. How would you compare them to all of the above. Thanks for all your help, Mike J.

Do you want to trade 2 RLi- 8s for that 15. Is that 15 the new style or the old style?

Where did you get the PR from I was planning on buying them form tcsounds when they come out but 20bucks sounds like a good deal to me.
