  2. Edouble... I LOVE your false oem radio. That's the sickest thing Evarrrr. So many ideas. Now I gotta figure which to do. And mine is hooked at my battery now.
  3. Lulz. My plan was to shoot a vid of me blowing the xcon with my saz3k. And post it after I have his $$ muhahahaha. Jk.
  4. Ramrod... I really reall like that idea. Might be what I do. Shizz, yes. I want it where I can easily take out the HU. Also want it where it looks clean. Not just slapped om there. I am re-wiring my whole system when its time. Its not very clean install. And I want the volt.meter now. So when the time comes for my to rewire everything, I wont have to remove the meter. And if velcrow melted in the heat, wont double sided tape? Eggy, that's an idea. But with no cover, it will be HELLA bright.
  5. Stefan, yea... ill go get my Hertz mid and do that next. Bahah
  6. Where it was is fine. That is my new HU. I was just saying tht the trim piece right next to the pockeet(part with cig lighter) will need to be able to be removed incase I need to take my HU out. There's not enough room under the cig lighter. I would keep it where it was but there's no where to put any screws...
  7. Well cableguy, its bot like I blew the tweets and a woofer in purpose. Lol. Had gain way to high on double Rms. As well as bass boost. (Before I knew the ducks shit up...) I learned from it tho. Lol
  8. Haha. Me and you both! And yea. $200 gone... pocket change. Lol I do have the crossovers for sale tho...
  9. Yes. They were awesome. And here's a pic of the coil aftermath. Haha
  10. so, my first set of aftermarket speakers were a set of carbon fiber Bravox comps. i blew both tweeters and one woofer. (had them bridged on my boss-rev665 so double rms. and not tuned. also had bass boost on. and gain was over 3/4. lol. (obviously before i knew anything) Lear From Your Mistakes! so i decided to have some fun. took it pretty well for i few seconds. Gain AND Bass boost were AL THE WAY UP! enjoy. (click photo)
  11. So, i had my meter mounted on the left side of the pocket below the HU using velcro. well, that was late last year (cool weather), and now... Hot Weather = the glue/tape on the back of the Velcro melting. so, heres a few pics of my dash. there is nowhere to mount it that i can see. you can see where the trim piece around the pocket is a separate piecs. i have to take that off when i need to get to my HU. so i cant mount it there. ANY opinions wanted. thanks!
  12. ^ ... that reminds me Mark (or Aaron) will there be a Pre-sale for a discount or something like that?
