That's awesome that you made your system noticably louder by adding an alternator, I've never had the oppurtunity to get in a car that needed a H/O alt.

From what I've read on forums you're fine as long as they are the same version, you can't have one v1 and another v2. Might want somebody elses opinion as well though.

I've heard that to make the BL's shine you need LOTS of port area. That's just reading off of the forums. So take it with a grain of salt I suppose.

Let me catch up, you have your 18" ssd box currently ported? How many cubes? I feel like you should have enough room for 4 10's sealed if you have the room for an 18 ported. Even 4 10's ported if that 18 is in the proper enclosure atm.. Cone area wise (3) 10's < (1) 18 < (4) 10's < (2) 15's < (1) 21.. Hope that helps your decision!
