  1. I will add that I just had a metal brace behind my headliner crack. I silicone it last night to prevent vibration noises. I am anxious to see if that was a good fix in this case.
  2. I would sandwich two pieces of 24 gauge around the crack. One piece from the inside of the trunk and another from the outside. I would smear silicone on both pieces first. This will prevent vibration issues and it will prevent water from coming into the trunk. I would then use aluminum rivets around the edge of the sandwiched pieces. If you have a welder then welding is an option as well. If you hold a copper plate on the bottom side of the welded area it will help with blow thu. Or you will need to almost tack weld the entire length of it to prevent blow through. Sometimes the easiest route isn't always the best. How did this happen? JB weld may not hold up to vibrations if that is the route cause of this.
  3. Sounds like a plan Robbie. Thanks for working on this. I just moved into my house. The Linden Street address is no longer my address. I will not be receiving mail there. I pm'd you my new address. Thank you, Eric
  4. Those 21"s are huge!
  5. Everything looks great! What is your process for polishing the aluminum?
  6. I absolutley love #4 in black!!!! I want one now! My mother has an embroidery business, she could stitch up some badass designs for you guys...
  7. Crescendo has a sale on their 1000c4, $195 shipped. It will do 500x2@4ohm.
  8. WTF....OK.....WTF.....Dudes ass is hanging out......WTF....Nice amp!!!!.......WTF......nice rack!!!!! That was my reaction while watching that video

nice! Man I wish I had a trunk that big and still got 32mpg.
  10. Ah I see. That would be easy! Those connectors are a huge pita!
  11. Keep in mind the Z's tend to peak high where as the SA and XCON are good low end woofers. SA and XCON are very different and I am not comparing to each other. I have a single XCON 15 in a 4^3ft 32hz tuned enclosure. It moves serious air but isn't going to set any records. There are guys running four sa10's hitting high 140's. Another option you have that will fit in your trunk.
  12. Sweet. I am making door pods for the midbass, mids in the kicks and tweeters in the sail panels. How did you run your speaker wire through the door jam into the door? Do you have pics? Voltage is better but bounces around from 13.4v to 15.1v. DC Power said the alt pulley maybe too small, I am waiting for them to get back to me.
  13. Not following how you would be a homo if you had two sa15.... A single 15 probably wouldn't be louder than two 12 assuming enclosure for both setups are optimal. Its all about enclosure efficiency, cone area and power. Maximize those three and you should be "loud". By the way two XCON 12" with 3k will knock your socks off. Two XCON 15" on 3k is nuts
  14. Looks like you have been bit by the bass bug!

Lol really? Suzuki is the squid bike of choice In all honesty unless you are a pro racer other than ergonomics you probably couldnt tell the difference between manufacturers when street riding. Thanks!

I wtecked her last year and have since parted her out but I sure do mis her!!! I did all the mods on it. I can't even tell you how many hours I had in modding and fabrication. Here are some pics kinda in order of build over three years.
  20. If you are applying the flux yourself then a silver solder is great. If you are not applying the flux yourself then you will need a rosin core (60/40) type solder. Rosin core has the flux built in. Rosin core solder is best for smaller (IMO) more delicate type of soldering such as circuit boards and RCA connectors. Silver solder you can purchase in a large diameter and is great for soldering larger projects like 1/0 copper lugs. You just have to apply the flux yourself. This is my opinion others like to use silver solder for everything and yet others like to use rosin core for everything. I use rosin core solder whenever I use my soldering pen. I use silver solder whenever I use my torch. Some people argue that silver solder has better conductivity but I am not concerned about details that insignificant.
  21. You can definitely buy bolts at the hardware store. I like to use aluminum bolts.
  22. YES, of course I am interested, you do excellent work! I really appreciate the offer Bro! What do you need me to measure? Well.... you need to figure out what rca wires you need then measure the lengths. Such as hu->processor->amps or hu->amps or processor->amps and amp->amp. I layout string from start to end to determine lengths. Often a tape measure isnt ideal. Since you already have your rca wires ran from your hu I would continue to use them. From that point on I can build you custom lengths and colors. Some people like to color code their wires. Like red = highs, blue = midrange, yellow = subbass the color options are endless if you decide on that route. Or your rca wires could be all the same color/design. Check out 1/4" techflex from partsexpress. This will give you an idea for color and design patterns. Also need to figure out if you need 2 channel, 4 channel or mono and how many of each. I like P3 connectors. They are not the cheapest but are reasonably priced and good quality. Mostly everything can be bought at partsexpress except for the wire. IMO gepco ez wire is great for our unbalanced connections and it is dirt cheap. When you decide on the lengths you need and so forth I can give you an itemized parts list. Then you pay me for materials I will buy them and assemble the wires then ship them out to you.
  23. I am serious about the rca wires. I would love to make then for your build. You just pay for materials ie wire, rca connectors and techflex. If you want pm me if you are interested.
  24. Thanks Thanks man After we get moved into our house I am completely redoing everything. I am building a much smaller sealed enclosure for the XCON, magnet out. I am sinking the battery in the trunk floor so I can put my spare tire back in. I need to build kickpanels, door pods and tweeter pods. Hopefully I can continue to impress I can not freak'n wait to hear my Viper components and Exodus 6.5" midbass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jamming out with stock speakers sucks
  25. Looks sick bro!!!!! Please let me make you a custom set of RCAs for your setup seriously they would look badass!
