  3. Good luck with your project!
  4. hmm im not sure. i think just plain old bolts. i know they arent stainless. but thanks for bringing that up that may haven something to do with my issue..... anyone got any suggestions? I never heard of aluminum negatively electrically reacting with any specific type of metal fastener.
  5. I would think this is feasible. Wheels are not necessary designed for lateral forces which could be compounded if the wheels were turned during impact.
  6. Don is an excellent vendor and has top notch customer service. His knowledge of vehicle acoustics and vibration control is immense.
  7. Congratulations!!!!!!!! Very nice looking house!!!
  8. Like I said before, I need to get on the VIP list........
  9. Nice build brah!
  10. I do not have the remote in the car. I an not touching the hu when this happens. Thanks for your suggestions! I haven't used the bluetooth yet but I plan on it! I am going to check the impedence of the speakers soon.....

Probably wouldnt sound too good with only two subs and one amp. I definitely recommend upgraded mids and highs and a dedicated amp.
  12. I really hope to make some more progress this week. I am working on the subwoofer enclosure external bracing and component layout (amps, processor, relays). I need to purchase some deadening for the trunk before I install it all.
  13. Thanks for the comments! Just got done skiing, 0 degrees outside wtf!!!!!!!!
  14. The clips are tough, you have to be aggressive. Post a build log!!! Good luck with DC Power. They sent me an HP alt November 2010 that didn't fit my vehicle, so they uograded me to an XP. I was suppose to have that last week...... Thanks!!! Thanks!!
  15. I didn't get to the doors yet. The interior is held together mostly with plastic clips. It really does take some force to pull them off. I haven't broke a clip yet. This is the door card removal tool that I have, it works well. I think there are 2 screws that need to come out of the door card first. Post a build log!!!!!!!!!
  16. Electrical is sufficient for 22x4 wrms. Check out my build log. I think the hu is faulty but Crutchfield techies are saying different. They are sending me a replacement hu. I didnt purchase my vehicle with the upgraded audio package. Without a doubt I do not have a factory amp. I didn't think of that, I was thinking defective unit or bad ground. OP, does the vehicle have an external factory amplifier? Again check my build log. Hu ground is at battery ground. I do not have a factory amp. Thanks for the relies guys!
  17. Is this another new N2 with a fried coil? Sure does look like it.
  18. You must really like the type-r, you mention it often.
  19. Looking forward to seeing the results from these new improvements
  20. I would like to know as well. Probably a better match up would be a ZCON and BTL.
  21. You like this 12" BTL more than the 15" XCON?
  22. Wow that is awesome!
  23. General rule of thumb is to go with the biggest port you can. I have read that over 3' in length the port starts to act like a horn so watch out for that plus the gain stats to flatten out.
