  1. I recently fired off an email to find out status on your amps. Wow. Can I expect a long ship date for my purchase as well? No, it is a group buy so they are being shipping out in bunches and ZED feel behind schedule due to a number of issues and they are catching up now.

  3. Nice fitting thanks for the link vs just an explanation!
  4. It's in the log. I have 4- 1/0 runs (2 pos. 2 neg.) form the battery to the rear seat on the drivers side. They are tied to the frame and enter from the bottom of the truck. I used water tight strain reliefs to bring them into the truck. 1 pos. and 1 neg. go strait to the saz 2000d. 1 pos. and 1 neg. go to the terminals under the 300/2 and supply power to the the 300/2 and the sax125.2 with 4 ga. runs. I also have a relay coming off the pos. terminal to use battery power to turn on the amps and run the fans, controlled by the head units remote turn on. I'm not sure it can be seen in the pics. Sweet nice set up. What are "water tight strain reliefs" ?
  5. A single XCON 15" in a 4cube tuned to 32hz will fit. Check out my thread http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/45144-enclosure-delimma-quote/
  6. In the pic with the JL300/2 you have your power wires ran through the side of the truck? How is that all wired up? What is the schematic for your electrical?
  7. Love seeing new stuff in development!

  9. Its good to allow for 100A of current for every 1,000W of power you plan to run. Keep in mind the most cars will need about 50A to power the vehicle's electronics, so for anything over 1,500W-2,000W, we would recommend a 250A alternator. In many occasions more than one alternator may be required to continuously power a stereo at 14V at full volume. Resurrected, good information.
  10. I am no electrician but I am learning. I do solder EVERYTHING. I honestly enjoy soldering and having the piece of mind that all of my connections are solid.
  11. Just joking around. I pushed the leaves around my car to make it look lowered lol. This is what happens when I drink cheap bear lol!
  12. In the leaves
  13. Really? Well I feel kinda dumb then lol. I thought 0 gauge was rated for 300 amps and 1/0 250 amps. Which lead me to believe 0 gauge was larger in diameter. I ha e used 1/0 many many times but never "0". Thanks Duran. Thanks for your input. I will not be pushing the 2K5 whatsoever so I should be fine with 1/0 like you Are you using 250amp fuses on the 1/0?
  14. Will one run of 1/0 wire (front battery to back battery) be enough to supply power to a 2k with another 85x4wrms amp? I am also thinking about one run of 0 gauge instead of 1/0. Thanks
  15. Very nice. What is the manufacturers name of this tool? Ebay link? Thanks
  16. I love all of the DIY custom work. Is that a 110v welded? I want to get welder, lathe and mill...someday. I was a fabricator years ago. I love that type of job shop work. Being a machinist pays the bills but gets boring fast. I have to chck out your mid bass thread.......
  17. Awesome. Once the echeck clears, we will process your order. These have been a much bigger hit then I had envisioned. Yeah I was ticked off that it would not let me use my debit card.....maybe because I have a PayPal balance. I was just about to purchase a BNIB SAZ-50.4 to power my ID HLCD's. But I remembered the HLCD's are 8 ohm and the 50.4 would only give me 25 watts then. I am taking a chance on the Boss, I hope it makes my horns happy! You can run them bridged on the Boss Audio, thats what I plan on doing with my Horns when I get them (just keep the gains all the way down, headroom will be your friend). I am running the front stage active. Channel 1&2 for horns, channel 3&4 for 6.5 midbass drivers. I am using my deck to power the rear fill for now which should be about perfect.

  19. I hope you have one of these left. I just sent my payment.
  20. Hi Rob. I did not get an email invoice from you. Is everything up and up with my order? Thanks, Eric
  21. No doubt! It is going to be a few months yet, my fiance is expecting me to be saving for our wedding! Great, I am very anxious to hear it! I understand what you are saying. You can't manufacture a product the will not sell.
  22. Thanks for the technical information denim. I always appreciate your input. I am 99.9% sure I will be getting the Stetsom 2k. I will be able to power dual 18's (different vehicle) in the future and not have to buy a new amp. For the meantime I will certainly have the 2k properly set up for the XCON. I am looking forward to being very pleased with this set up. I have had numerous systems in the past that I have only been, well, "ok" with. After researching the XCON I am excited to take things to a higher level of SQ and SPL. Yeah yeah I know can't have both but from my viewpoint I will, I am not competing. This is the first vehicle that I am doing an alternator upgrade with and dual batteries, I am excited. I don't know what I am doing with the front stage yet. I wish KEF was still around or MBQuart was still amazing speakers. Did you have to bring up the CMP????? LOL. The CMP12 was my dream speaker back in the day. Funny you mentioned it........I thought of XCON's as being CMP's........hitting the 140's and sounding phenomenal doing it.
  23. denim, do you think the XCON 15D2 can handle 2500wrms daily????
