  1. I had sold most of the equipment that I was planning on using. I was not able to fabricate the enclosure as I had planned. In the end it was too small and would have needed a complete redo to make it larger. I downsized and am now using a single 15" SSA Evil.
  2. I recently purchased a SSA Evil 15 D2. This is my third SSA subwoofer. I previously owned a XCON and ZCON. I originally purchased an Incriminator Audio DP15. After ordering I noticed that the new IA shredder basket was only offered on the 12" sub . It took two business days for anybody at SSA to answer my calls, emails, messages and chats. I was asking to change my order to a SSA Evil. After I was able to contact someone at SSA it was no problem with changing my order. I was happy to receive my Evil within a week. Although, it would have been great to of been informed of a new revision being released the following week . After extensive comparing and modelling different subwoofers I feel that the SSA Evil is a leader in the market. I have not come across another brand subwoofer manufacturer that sells a sub at this price that has the frequency response, power handling and quality that the Evil has. I am also stoked to be using my first 4" coil subwoofer. I do not have the sub installed yet. Unfortunately, I hit a deer with my car that caused $6700 in damage. I should have my car back the middle of November. I will have this sub installed shortly after getting my car back. I built a 4.25^3ft enclosure tuned to 32hz. I will initially be powering it with a Rockford Fosgate Power T1500-1. Within the next few months I will be powering it with a different amplifier. Here is a sneak peak of the enclosure I built.
  3. I post a link from flickr Thanks! Thanks! I like sharing my pictures, that;'s part of the fun of taking them!
  4. I've head this from you for years. My opinion doesn't matter, but I'd find a new build house.
  5. That was a rig shot with remote control shutter release and two exposures. One exposure with hood open and another will hood closed. The car moved slowly during 1.6 second exposures to show motion. I edited the exposures in PS CC by stacking the hood closed image on top of the hood open image. Then I used a brush tool to paint black over the top image to expose the bottom image. Super easy. My editing skills needs work, practice makes perfect!
  6. This would look cool hanging in my basement bar!
  7. Thanks! I shot with a Nikon D810. I have a variety of lenses including a 200-500mm. The D810 has high MP which allows me to crop as well. Thanks bro
  8. Thanks!!! Here is a few more.
  9. To be honest the only real reason I buy DD is to keep my backup camera. Since I had it I use it all the time. For NAVI I use one of my smartphones; for me it is quicker and easier to use.
  10. This build is officially squashed. I sold most of the gear and I am re-energizing my photography business. Another ridiculously expensive hobby. Here are some recent pics I took with my new Nikon D810 Heading back to the track this weekend to make some money
  11. I did not have any issues with the Kenwood. I'd use it again if it suited the install I was doing. I bought an Alpine with optical out to utilize the optical input on the H800. I found the 8100NEX much easier to use than the Alpine. I'll save the comparison between RCA and optical to myself because I know that will cause a shit storm lol.
  12. I am selling my Nikon D7000 and I am including 3 lenses. At this time, I am not selling any of the lenses separately. The lenses included are a AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm F1.8G, AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-85mm F3.5-5.6G ED VR and a AF-S VR Zoom NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED. These three lenses and the D7000 produced excellent portrait, nature, sports and wild life photographs. I have used the AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm F1.8G in numerous low light photography scenes such as caverns, coal mines and indoor when flash was not allowable. The AF-S VR Zoom NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED is an exceptional lens, I had this lens mounted more frequently than the other two. There is not mechanical, electrical or surface damage on any item. All items are in excellent condition. The D7000 shutter count is 17381. This correlates to 12% of its expected shutter life. I take extreme caution with my equipment. All items are stored in a camera bag and lens and camera covers are always on unless they are in-use. I have not used any item in an extreme weather condition or in a high dust area. This set is literally as good as it gets in used condition. I recently purchased a full frame camera and I am not able to justify having two camera bodies. Additionally, these three lenses are a perfect match for this camera and I know you will enjoy them all. $1150 shipped, full insurance, tracking, PayPal payment only Specific product descriptions: • Nikon D7000 o The D7000 is a new mid-class DX-format camera with a compact body loaded with several advanced functions. The 35mm DX lens construction consists of eight elements in six groups, with one aspherical lens to reduce size and weight, while contributing to the enhanced balance when mounted on a smaller DX-format D-SLR. A rounded diaphragm opening combined with the seven-blade aperture contributes to a substantially more circular bokeh for a more natural appearance of out-of-focus background elements. 15. Pain in the butt! Good news, I got my XS Power Superbanks today These are the distribution blocks that I will be using on each one.
  16. Unfortunately I am having problems with my Ohio Generator alternator. It is internally regulated and is not working properly. When it is under 20F outside and I start my car the alternator has 0 charging voltage. After 30 minutes of driving sometimes it kicks on, other times it doesn't. Also at idle it is 13.5 volts, when I press on the gas voltage jumps to 16.5 volts!
  17. Put a suppression circuit (diode) across terminals 85/86. You wouldn't want to fry your h/u
  18. What are you using for midrange drivers? You should be able to cross your tweeters high @ 8k with a small midrange driver.
  19. Thanks! I list for what I would pay for second hand equipment.
