Read up on how to set your amplifier gain(level).

Yes you can use your amp to get you by until you buy your other amp, it will not harm the sub from underpowering, just make sure you set your gain correctly and not try to get more power from the amp than is can safely deliver.

Sorry bro, I have no experience, neither have I read any reviews on that amp. Be patient they are a lot of good people on this forum and I am sure they will give recommendations.

I know I might get hammared for saying this but I will say it anyways, I am sure you didnt buy that sub for the looks of it, by buying that sub it tells exactly what you are wanting to acheive, so save or spend your money and buy an amp that would yield you maximum output from the sub, do it right, do it once, no regrets.

There is another option of buying an amp thats rated around 1/2 the rms of the sub and is strappable, then later when you have money buy another one and strap them together.

I agree with that recommendation, for your application, your money is best spent on the crescendo 2k. If you want to compromise a bit on a lower budget, then look at the aq 1200.
