even with tons of vibration you just need some absorption of that vibration when it comes to amps(i guess kinda like having shoes with no insole and then putting gel insoles in, its better for your joints). like how you see people use rubber feet, i use .25in foam between the board my amps are on and the enclosure, the screws that hold the amp board/rack to the enclosure are drilled out bigger than the screw so the board can very very slightly move and absorb, any vibrations. What i would do is take the amp off the box all together. OP, did you look at the internals after they pooped?

For two they recommend .4 - 6 cubes sealed. I had the CVTs from 2 years ago and I thought they were great, i think you need a bigger box. As far as ported, never tried it.

ohh almost forgot this, i bought 2 sa8s from Steve, both in great condition and just had been reconed. Great guy to deal with. 10/10.

you have an 18 in 7.3cubes PORTED, but you say you have to seal the 15s? basically any 15 works in 3-5 cubes each. So why would 7.3 cubes not be enough? you could basically redo the baffle and mount them in the same box. edit: not to be a dick, but almost every idea given you seem to immediately throw it out the window.

does the same thing to my subs(my lvl4 15s and my 5)(my lv5 18 is in 5.7cubes with 16.5sqin of port at 36.5hz), could be clipping, i can play any song as hard as i want and no heat, i play it for 1 minute, and the dustcap is hot to the touch. I stray from that song now (bass boosted versions unless it is decaf) edit: the farther from tuning you get, the less cone control you have. So when you are tuned to 42hz playing a 28hz note, you first getting a lot of excursion lessening the amount of coil in the gap (reducing BL iirc) and therefore losing cone control which can cause more excursion, but as far as the heat, i think it is the song or something clipping cause rapid heating.

Awesome video throw a 3k at it!!!! thats what i will end up doing. probably a scendo 3500 at .5 or i may get it reconed to dual 2 so i can run it a 1. But if i do .5 ill watch the gain. Its awesome though, 2400rms to the sub, and 320rms to my doors and all i have is a stock alt with a kinetik HC800 and the most drop i have seen is down to 12.9v at idle. I dont drop .2v when driving. (gain is still backed down a hair until my DD1 comes.)

well the box has 90 angled steel with about 15 screws through a platform under it that has 4x4s for legs and it is held down with the seat bolts in the back, i slammed on the brakes today cause of some jackass and it didnt budge. the weight itself keeps it back there too. all the weight is low, amps are about 8in off the floor, magnet is about 10in off the floor, battery is on the platform 4in from the floor, etc. Is the platform made out of 2x4s? half a sheet of .75in MDF. 4 4x4 feet on each side and a 2x4 across the middle so it touches the arch that goes down the center line of my console. I have stood on it multiple times, and i weight 275lbs and it doesnt flex.
