Play a song with phase set at 0. Then play the same song over again with phase set to 180, If you hear no loudness difference to the ears then you dont need to have phase on 180 for your application. Easy as that.

The low's won't be anywhere near as good as what the Xcon is capable of. why do you say this? The Xcon is a low end monster with 31mm of Xmax and lower Fs. I have owned both and heard multiple setups using both drivers and aside from specs I've heard both first hand. In no way am I saying the sa-8 can't drop down low, it just isn't on the same level as the Xcon. Specs and experience speak for the truth the xcon is a low end monster!

I would go for the sa-12's lot easier to sell if you ever want to upgrade.

Doubt rca's are causing voltage drop they transfer signal not power..........

I used stinger lvl 3 rca's in my wagon and sedan!!! NOT impressed at all with the quality of the product stay away from stinger over priced hype. 12gauge scoche is what im running to my subs also feels like junk haha Tuned into for information on quality wire and rca's for a good PRICE!! I know of one brand that makes amazing speaker wire but really pricey "KASA Kable Silver Plated 10 Gauge Speaker Wire" Prices of the stuff is not for a budget i can tell you that
