Understandable. Its getting to the point, where if you don't have 1080p, your in the past. Sad, cause I cant afford the TV I want. Then much less the audio setup I want.

I'm wondering how HDMI will be handled in the separates market. I don't know much about it, but I would assume you could swap out the processor for something HDMI-capable without changing amplification? I'm just curious because everyone I've talked to running HDMI in some form is running a receiver, which is just blah to me. Damn, something Jim doesn't know alot about. This is a surprise.

I had 500rms to mine for a little while, then put 1500rms(Sundown 1500D) on it. IMO, 500rms is the least I would put to the sub. But the change in sound from 500 to 1500rms is greatly. Lowend came out a lot, sounded cleaner, and more detailed.

IMO, Id still get a Sundown 3000d. The Lanzer may outperform it by a little, but I bet the current vs. power isn't really worth it.

I'm guessing with the choice of sub it's more of an SQ setup, a smaller port actually has wider bandwidth (less peaky) than a large port as long as it's not TOO small Tell em SQueer. hehe.
