i think the cheapest thing about car audio is the subs..and the subs are what makes the noise..lol its getting things to make the subs do what it do that cost alot..

bl's arnt really for sq..but will get loud...the icons have much better sq..actually some have said its the best sounding sub they have heard..and also can get loud if thats what you desire from them..in this case for my money the icon my choice..it has some of everything..

great choice in subs man your plan sounds great..

great choice man one that you wont regret..but you will have 1 problem after you install it...the problem of comming up with more cash to buy more icons and amps..

you dont have to hit it with the full rms its capable of..and to be honest you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between 1400 and 1500 by ear that is.

i was worried at first about the rms because im going with 2 kicker 2500.1 and putting 1250 into each sounded a bit much..but after reading more i think i'll be ok with 1250..

LMFAO i was about to post that..and to make it worse he opens the rear hatch and makes it louder..

at this point so many people are doing the fi thing i would try something different and go with the icons..if you go to the ssa forum section there are lots of reviews and videos of them in action..

hi guys, do you plan on getting any of the kicker zx 4 channels models in? i noticed you have the sx versions and while they are great i dont want to mix amps id like to stay 1 line up..

yes while its a bass exhancer it can also allow me to lower the bass at certain levels without lowering the volume..
