Unless you can strap that amp, thats usually not a good idea for a daily driver setup. And if you can strap it, you should bridge it at 8ohm if they are 4ohm stable and 4 ohm if they are 2 ohm stable. If you need it for spl, you need new amps that make more power. imo why not dual q's or ssd's?
  2. I didn't even see it. No harm no foul. Sorry I don't type/think more clearly/linearly.

I ordered an SSD and a BTL on the same order. The SSD showed up today and man is it beefy...but there is no BTL. UPS said there were two packages...but only one showed up. Do the subs ship when theyre done, or do you hold one to wait on another that takes longer? Thanks,
  12. Has anyone burnt a BTL coil? What wattage and what scenario would you EXPECT a BTL to burn up the voice coil?
  13. The kenwood I have has 4 24bit a/d converters...4! The JVC had good SQ...but this was a cd player I had in high school...95-96ish. I liked the sq...but I I like the kenwood more.

"i know it would be much easier on my electrical system running two BL's rather than 2 BTL's." What difference does the sub type matter? It's all about the wattage. 2kw to a bl is the same as 2kw to a btl. So...2kw is too much for bl's (so I've heard). But it's great for btl's. 300amps...how many batterys?

To be straight...you can't power 2 BLs like they want with a stock electrical system. I say get a new alternator, some xtra batterys, and a couple BTL's.

135-140ish. If youre lookin for spl...sealed isn't the way to acheive it.
  20. When I used them, I didn't have an amp for mids and highs...i used the HU. And the internal amp would get the stock speakers rocking. And they didnt have an optical out...which is fine by me because I havent seen a car amp with optical in's.... The SQ was good.

I was going to say you didn't have enough room for two BTL's....but I was wrong. You do. It's gonna be loud!
  22. Do you have any pics showig off the motor and basket?
  23. How big is your box? What options does the sub have? How much power is it getting? AWESOME!!!
