this may be a longgggggggggggggg build log considering i dont have the money for everything yet lol. i may buy the nightshade after christmas and save a little more so i can get the box build going! but rims and tint are coming first!

yeah paul said that he went with DC because they responded to him first on all his calls and emails. he tried Fi, ascendent, and incriminator, but DC responded to him first. said it took weeks before any of the others contacted him back. as for the vid sorry didnt get a new one but i will and will post here

Nothing much, so far. But I figured I might as well get this started.. things to be done: new box for 15" nightshade d2 amp rack for kicker 1000.1 customize doors for earthquake mids (eventually neo-pros) mechman 250 amp alternator installation rims, tint, headlight bulbs, exhaust system, air filter system, decal, vtec conversion, shocks, springs, LOTS more.. anyway, my ride 1996 Honda Civic EX Coupe non-vtec original paint, not too bad.. may repaint in future. Installed this muffler myself Borla muffler on stock exhaust system lol. will upgrade exhaust system as well Lol, my stock 14" rim with 2% tread on the tire.. i definitely need new wheels! DOHC ftw. lol

Yeah man the dcon is an awesome sub. I had a 10" dcon d4 as well. I overpowered it and blew a rip in it (rip was from previous owner, ghetto fix) so I put some amazing goop and duct tape to fix the rip. It works great now! I have it installed in my uncle's 4runner. Running about 250 watts of clean power. By far best sub in the wattage range ive ever heard.

Agreed. I may upgrade to sundown amps in the future. I'm just saying, I have the kicker amps I'd like to utilize them.. They are sexy too lol. The thing is I downgraded because I felt like the bass was too much, now I feel I dont have enough bass. You never realize what you got till it's gone!!

It's true I have the option for more power in the future. But since we are on the topic, 1 10" nightshade vs 1 15" nightshade I'm assuming the 15 is louder? On same wattage?

Yes hell of a deal, theyre free lol. I don't have the money for amps only electrical upgrades for now. I do want to run sundown amps but they are godly expensive. . I sold my saz1500 awhile back, wish i didn't lol

Why would you have less power available for the 15? I'd probably do the extra 10 because it'll be cheaper and there won't be too much of a difference in output between the two. Well I didn't wanna over power the sa15 Some guy locally is selling a sa15 in custom box for $200. And another sa10 is about $200. I already have the kicker amps (well they are my uncle's) I also have a 15" sundown nightshade as an option but it would be powered by the kicker 1000.1. I'm not paying for more amps lol There wouldn't be a difference in output not by the slightest? I would do the nightshade hands down. Nightshade on 1000 rms. Is that necessary lol

Oh and electrical would be mechman 250amp alt. (still have to buy) Kinetik 800 under hood and kinetik 2000 in trunk. 1/0 kicker wiring.

I have a 2 door Honda civic. Bass would be in trunk. I currently have 1 sa10 in a ported box tuned 30-31 hz powered by kicker zx 400.1 I love this setup but I want more bass My thoughts are 2 sa10s ported tuned 32-34hz powered by kicker 1000.1 Or 1 sa15 ported tuned 32-34hz powered by kicker 750.1 Which would be louder in my trunk? I guess this is kind of a cone area vs power thing .. Either way would work for me .. I've been researching stuff but haven't really found an answer so I'm hoping you guys can help me out lol. And sorry if I left out any information. Thanks for reading!
