  1. lifted 98 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4 dr. team toxic bass box probably... well, Hexibase now...
  2. course... might be a couple weeks.
  3. hmmm what could it possible be....? 2 TC3K's !!!!! top view, and a shot with the Orion 2500D, stupid UPS guy delivered the first sub, two diff. trucks...? WTF? 4 houses down the block???!?!?!?! good thing I saw him drive by and checked the awfully familiar looking sub crate box, with my name and address on it!!! anyway seems like things are finally starting to roll. Next, new 2-way alarm, tint.... then alt, wires... ect. cant wait!
  4. yeah, tint is coming...was anyway.... too late. darkest possible under the table kinda tint... yup. and a 2 way. but being optimistic about everything... I already paid 4 my new subs for the new build, hell they should be here tomorrow!!!! almost forgot. Also, everything is covered threw Ins., so that money can go to new tint, and 2-way alarm.... and window... I'll have to take care of that today.
  5. last time I checked McDonald's kills more than people carring... but I wont get into that here.... sad to see soo many antis these days... IMO, your a citizen.... or a subject. education is the key....
  6. its got a basic alarm in it... 1st thing I did. time 4 two-way 4 sure... the last little b-tards we almost caught, drove by and shot out my roomate's window..., we jumped in my Jeep, and did 60 mph down the road caught up, and it was on... cops on the phone, turn by turn directions... still, "we have no unit in the area" ... funny how they are always plenty camped on the freeway catching speeders... I guess thats the real crime these days.... anyway, we caught up to em... and, they got a REAL good look down the barrel of my 12 ga. ... u feel me Shizzon..? lol. yeah I carry...
  7. So woke up this am 4 work to find my back window busted out, tailgate left open... and my subs gone!!!! didn't hear a damn thing... and I'm only 20 feet away or so from my truck. I'm planning on a new sub build anyway.... but damn...WTF? So sick of this crap... So it appears that I have a need for a two way alarm, any suggestions...? local audio place suggested a compustar, and wants 800$ to install it... remote start, glass break, 2nd horn...the works... I don't really care to put it in myself, but I might if it saves me some $, and is not tooo complicated. IDK... really want to catch these little F'rs.....
  8. bigjon, just a thought here... but you could do run 2 runs of Knuconceptz collosus 1/0 for less than a run of 3/0 stinger. And the Collosus is actually 2/0.... just food for thought, I'm leaning towards that route...
  9. By 2500D, I mean Orion... sorry, too cheap for sundowns, maybe i'll upgrade to them later... but I think the nice shinny titanium cones of the TC3K's match nicely with a silver orion 2500d... I use a orion 8004 to drive my mids; two sets MB Quart, QSD-216's...it rocks. and passive, being a box design. look up toxic bass enclosures or hexibase.com its a "column loading" technique that puts up impressive #'s...
  10. glad to hear everyone is happy with that sub, I got 2 on the way!!!! and sundown makes the best.... here is and old link to the old TC site, with box specs....I like the passive tuned @ 10Hz!!! hehe http://web.archive.org/web/20070224172836/....com/tc3000.htm seems like 3.6 cubes tuned @32Hz is working for a lot of people... I'm just curious... I bet they can handle a lot more than, 1500rms. They are identical to the new; TC AXIS subs, which are rated for 2500rms....? hhmmm... I feel the need for another 2500D.
  11. might add another 2500... the audio pulse rec. 2500 watts RMS per driver for the axis line, which is identical to a TC3K...
  12. very clean... nice install! can't say mine will be as good, but I will have 2 TC3K's...
  13. search done.... got two TC-3000 15"s, Q1 identical to axis audio pulse... but with titanium cone...
  14. very nice.... I just grabbed a pair of TC-3000 15"s....
  15. well its doesn't really matter now, cause sound splinter is out of stock of RL-S's and has no intentions of restocking....
  16. yeah im doing some searching on it. looks very impressive. arguably the best "LSQ" sub available... Its very similar to the TC sounds AXIS line, just below the LMS Ultra. except, the SS version has massive quad stack magnets!!! so maybe in between the AXIS & LMS? Is sound splinter still outsourcing to TC?, or have they started making their own now...? I just wish it can in duals, or something other than 3 ohm. I emailed SS, to see if they can do some kinda custom pair... but 2, 3ohm...would get 1.5 @ the amp...which should get close to 1200 or so per sub. should be enough, but I'd like to give'm more... hell I just might grab another amp if I could get them in custom coils... thanks, Mmray for the info about the 12".
  17. 15" Havoc... is Fi, so follow their Q, or BL line specs for boxes. Ascendant audio's web is down... or not ready quite yet... I'd say 3-5 cubes.... If you want SQ, sealed....if you want more output, port it at about 32-34 hz. Havocs are great subs, their just still very new... so thats why not too many reviews. but like I said its Fi now, and thats all you need to know. Another great choice would be an sound splinter RL-p 15".... very SQ oriented, but loud as well...
  18. funny... jim. but they require about 2000rms each to full excrusion. the simple fact that my amp does only 2500 @ 1ohm... pretty much takes them outa the picture. could wire in parallel, seeing 1.5 ohms. but the amp would still only get each sub a little more than 1000 each. And with there low SPL sens. does not help, that coupled with the fact that their also recommended for sealed applications, not vented which is the intended route.
  19. yeah if I had 4K to blow on subs.... those would be my #1... LMS ultras are sick.... but 2g's a piece... come on. the sound splinter Rl-S would be cool, a step down from the ultras... but the only some in single 3 ohm, how the hell are you supposed to wire those....
  20. wow... the recommend over the IDQ's/IDMAX really caught my eye... must be one hell of a sub, at a damn good price to....
  21. probably dp's or havocs.... at the moment, could change you know how that goes.... sent a e-mail to hexibase.com; formerly known as toxic bass, to see what he thinks with the space I have to work with.
  22. lol... I only got the membership to play B-ball, went in last night, after not going for a few weeks as I have a wieght room at my house...sooooo much nicer than lifting at the gym even if they have better equipment. and they said my account had been canceled... they tried to contact me, never did...its a cell phone and i woulda known.... and now owe 4 months back pay to get back in....WTF? all of denim's reasons, and these are why I lift at home... and do 5 mile runs... (well, in the summer) there is lift 2 feet of snow here now...

dude... you have way more than 7 cubes there... go to Re audio site, and plug in your #'s till it matches the tunning and ect. that you need, and it spits out all the plate sizes you need... then get to work. hell you could buy the saw and wood, and still be under $400.... lol.
  24. 2k is for the standard BTL, a fully load could probably handle closer to 3K daily. That being said, Meade runs a RF T-4000.1BD to each 18" BTL, and those are probably pushing closer to 5K Rms with the proper electrical. This is however, a comp setup and not daily. but it gives you in idea of what the can handle... Give em good clean power, and watch the gains/bb, and you shouldn't have a problem. I'd say go for the Sundown 3000, should be a perfect match.
  25. well I suppose I could take the measurements off of my box... its custom made for the L7's...
