  2. That would be nice as I was intrested in mags before I bought my SSD's but due to them not being available I ended up with SSD's but I would love to try a pair of mags on my SAZ-1500d and see how those do in the lanes..

Post your setup and what you have been metered at. I have 2 12" D1 Copper Coils 1 hc 2000 1 saz-1500d 4 cu ft enclosure each chamber seeing about 2 cu ft So far I have been able to obtain a 140.6 with my 2 12" ssds but feel like I am lacking somewhere because I know she has more in her... anywho post those setups and scores.
  4. Whats the link to the website as the one I go to always give that big message about the change and the teaming up with FI I would love to read up on AA as I always wanted to play with a sub with xbl^2 coil technology.
  5. Apr 28 in glen burnie if ya need more info pm me and I will be more than happy to give it to ya as I have it bookmarked..
  6. I want one please dear kind sir since I do run FI in the lanes..
  7. So I am looking at the ssds on the web and notice the d2 coils have a stronger bl than the d1 coils do and wonder would that difference really make that much of a difference in an enclosure as I know the stronger the bl is the better the sub will react in an enclosure correct me if im wrong. D1 has a bl of 9.3 while the d2 has a bl of 14.1 so somebody help me understand this. Also I need to calculate the subs vas into cu ft it has a vas of 58.7 but I have no clue of how to convert it. thanks in advance
  8. I would have to look, but that is too much work to justify my opinion. I put a set I got for $30 in the wifes car.......she didnt like them, I didnt like them....I dont think anyone liked them. But, I figured I would take a chance and maybe my thought on them would change. Nope. When we got rid of the car, we got rid of those POS. Highly doubt it was the Hd 62's you got for 30 bucks.... the whole comp set at that.. if so somebody was really nice to you and also depends on what amp you were using to power them and how you had them setup..
  9. There are several variants of the HD's which set did you hear in particular? You are the first person I have read say they didn't like the HD's... but everyone is entitled to there own opinion..
  10. im not in Pa. im in Fairfax Va,,and my shops in Springfield Va Ohhh another local guy.... We should have a meet for all the guys that are local guys.
  11. I just wanna know when you will have some more in stock... I want some darn mags..
  12. I don't think they have reached their mechanical or thermal limits but I wouldnt have an idea of how to tell either. So in this case im not sure what to do aside from building a larger enclosure as I would like to build the most optimal enclosure for both the subs and for bassrace.
  13. Thats not a problem but I just wanted to get scotts input on a few things as I am possibly looking to change subs but then again may not due to the new options you guys came out with for the ssds so I wanted to know should I get a recone for my subs as I have D1 copper coils FIRST PERSON to own them I believe and would like to get d2 coils but im not sure if I want flatwind or copper still as I love the way it pounds the lows. My main concern is that I want to do bass racing this season but I need a nice solid 12" setup so im torn between sticking with my ssd's or going with the Q's. I don't want an all out spl setup because I like S.... Q..... L.... setups and the ssd's are very prominent and haven't let me down. But I kind of max them out with my enclosure burping 57 hz at 140.6 and music with 140 which I thought is kind of strange but im still new to this and will test some more next week. I am looking to join the 139.9 class but I need to hit mid 40's to really be in the 139.9 class and I wonder if running my amp saz-1500d at .5 ohm will help the ssds produce more spl giving I get recones for them and get the upgraded parts. The subs are currently wired down to 1 ohm with the d1 setup. So do I stick with the ssd's and upgrade or go with the q's.. I like S..... Q.... L.... so keep that in mind and I figured builing a larger enclosure could help me achieve a better score as they are currently in a box 2 cu ft per chamber tuned to bout 33-35 hz can't remember which bout somewhere in that area... So please help this competitor out as im looking to get serious with competing but I need the proper setup..

  18. I was on the same boat till I purchased my second ssd and I love the pair only I started off ported.. but get the second one and see how things are both sealed if your still unhappy go ported you will see a SIGNIFICANT difference adding the second sub.
