  1. Just read their post on facebook, now I get it.
  2. That's what I was thinking. On their website it says their trademark was contested, yet a quick search shows that the trademark was granted in January 2011 to their address. It is now shown as abandoned, if they had the name why did they change? Also it was abandoned a day before one year.
  3. Just realized they changed their name, but they still sell all audioque merchandise with audioque branding on it. When will they switch the name over? Will the products stay the same or all new lines?
  4. Thanks! Never made it out yesterday, today maybe?
  5. My dad has an E8v1 in his van in an old box that was from a component set, he needs a new box. I have leftover wood from my box so I thought I might as well use it! Using sundowns recommendations I figured .6 cubes with a 7x2 PVC aero port. My question is how much port area should it have and what frequency to tune to. He listens to rock music, should I even port it?
  6. Check all your grounds, each should have it's own proper spot. Ground the HU good. did this just pop up or has it been there for a while? If it just popped up, could be the HU going bad.
  7. I'm not too good at this, but I'll try! Eh? I'm not too good with angled walls, they make the port confusing. That's one port, and you should do some bracing, at least front to back between the subs.
  8. Two SA12s would do the trick in that car
  9. Well let's look at this: Cut the head unit and RCAs out, plays fine. Change RCAs and amp, problem is there. USing head unit there is alternator whine and doesn't sound good. Factory or aftermarket head unit?
  10. I'd love to go with sundown, but the cost of a z 18 would be at least 500$. I'm 17 years old paying for a new 2012 vehicle. I don't have that much money. But enough to keep my hobby going!
  11. I was confused by the picture a bit, hard to see the rest of the vehicle through the cut outs! I was wondering why you were doing an install on half of a vehicle...
  12. I guess sencheezy was right, I couldn't finish the box yesterday. Got all the wood cut out but my drill is at my place in new york. I'm going to drive out there sometime today. Meanwhile here is the current progress: Most of the wood cut out. Forgot to cut these two... Found a piece of pine to use as bracing. Screw locations for baffle all marked out. I think it was about 30 screws on top 3" screw for the baffle into sides, then 1" 1/4 for everywhere else Mmm
  13. I usually get blurry vision on car shaking bass. I don't know the frequency, but the bass that moves your mirrors the most. Probably my contacts moving around with the waves.
  14. Built my last box in about four hours,it worked out fine.
  15. Looks really clean, carpet that up and It'd look factory! Almost..
  16. Here's some pictures of the current, soon to be old install. Can't get any good videos with my phone. Here's the dumb strut towers blocking the way My Amp, with the professional looking wiring Gotta represent your local shop!
  17. The pictures will start to come now, as now I am starting. Getting a new blade today, but I work so I won't be doing any cutting. Box should be cut and built tomorrow though. Ordered the HDC3 last night, due to arrive Monday. Along with the order I bought a Team Audioque sticker for the front window and using reward points got a sticker for the back window as well.
  18. I know the blue colored rubi2500 has a cheap breakable case, feet crack etc. I'd grab an old SS Picasso though. I had a Soundstream pcx2000D, thing was great and stayed pretty cool. Maybe the breakable one is the new, or old model. The one I saw was all metal, pretty heavy.

What do you have you're toothbrush wired to? My tooth paste is getting pretty hot with my current set up.
  20. Soundstream Rubicon line anyone? Pretty solid amps.
  21. Cut marked out. Found a program that maps out the most efficient cut pattern, worked out nicely.
  22. Figured it out using Audioques size recommendations. Box is going to be 6.3 cubes after all displacements, 36hz tuning with a slot port. 87 sq inches of port. Bought the wood today, but I need a new blade on the saw Double baffle on top with 2x4 bracing. Port and sub firing up. Oh and if it isn't clear yet, it's going to be an HDC3 18 Anyone want to buy my old SA12's? Still as stiff as they were on day one!
  23. I'm a bit weary of buying used subs...
